Graham Gold returns with another chapter of Esta La Musica on Scientific Sound Asia. The platform continues to operate as an Asian electronic music radio station, DJ agency and promoter, while also publishing music news and supporting underground electronic music culture across Asia and internationally.
For more than four decades, Graham Gold has remained closely connected to the evolution of dance music culture through radio broadcasting, club residencies, touring and production. From London’s pirate radio era through to global festival appearances and international radio syndication, his career reflects a rare continuity across multiple generations of electronic music.
His breakthrough years on Kiss 100 FM established him as one of the UK’s most recognisable electronic music broadcasters. The station’s weekly shows became essential listening for club audiences throughout the 1990s, helping introduce new sounds spanning progressive house, trance and deeper underground styles during a period of rapid global growth for dance music culture.
Alongside his radio profile, DJ Graham Gold became one of the leading names associated with Peach, the influential London club brand known for marathon sessions, melodic progressive sounds and carefully programmed line-ups. The nights built a loyal following and became a major part of the UK clubbing landscape, helping shape the sound and atmosphere of an entire era.
Before this international recognition, Graham spent years immersed in London nightlife culture. His long residency at Gulliver’s Club in Mayfair, combined with work on pirate radio and Capital FM, gave him an unusually broad musical foundation rooted in soul, disco, funk, reggae and early dance music. These influences continue to appear subtly throughout his sets and productions today.

Current studio work reflects the breadth of that musical background. Recent releases on Ballroom Records, such as Uncanny Parallels and Postponed, explore melodic and progressive territory with darker textures and rolling rhythmic structures, while Manipulation with Jourdan Bordes moves further into driving Melodic House & Techno territory through hypnotic sequencing and layered atmospheres.
Elsewhere, French Horn with Kollen on Moon Island Records showcases a warmer Deep House direction built around groove and understated melodic phrasing. His collaborative material with Samotarev, including Rising and Blue Camels, continues to develop cinematic Progressive House and melodic club structures with an emphasis on gradual movement and emotional pacing.
Graham also continues to maintain a strong connection to trance music through releases on Discover Records. Tracks such as Glorified, Living In The Now and the Manuel Le Saux remix of Moving On revisit uplifting melodic trance while incorporating more contemporary production approaches and cleaner arrangement techniques.
At the time of this broadcast, Graham Gold had just released The Lost City on Patent Skillz, continuing his growing focus on melodic and progressive club music. The release combines flowing melodic house and techno structures with atmospheric synth work and steady rhythmic progression, reflecting the evolving direction of his productions during 2021.
The Peach name itself remains active through reunion events and special showcases in London and Ibiza, bringing together longtime followers of the original scene alongside newer audiences discovering the brand’s legacy for the first time. These events continue to celebrate the progressive and melodic sounds closely associated with Graham’s career.
Now based in Thailand, Graham remains deeply involved in Southeast Asia’s electronic music community through regular appearances in Koh Phangan, Pattaya, Phuket and Koh Samui. His schedule includes beach events, underground club sessions and festival appearances, maintaining a strong connection to regional audiences while continuing to support underground dance culture across Asia.
Through Esta La Musica, Graham Gold continues presenting carefully selected electronic music that moves between Deep House, Progressive House, Melodic House & Techno, Tech House and Trance, combining decades of experience with an ongoing passion for musical discovery and underground club culture.
The show opens with King Cosmic’s Berdumdum, introducing an Indie Dance groove before Matador and Brian Cid guide the mix into deeper melodic territory through Eightball and Flares. And 16. alongside Yannis PK continue the flowing atmosphere with Drama and Deneb, establishing the strong melodic identity of the session.
Patrick Hero shifts the mood toward Progressive House with Save The World, while Pablo Gargano introduces a deeper Trance influence through Spatial Autumn. Graham Gold’s own production The Lost City restores the melodic direction, maintaining a smooth underground flow through the middle of the set.
The progression continues through Atribut’s Your Love, balancing Progressive House rhythms with atmospheric textures. My Flower and Miguel Montez then deepen the Melodic House and Techno atmosphere with Spheal and Sa Caleta, reinforcing the late-night club feel of the mix.
A darker groove emerges through Darius Syrossian and George Smeddles’ Blood Orange, where Minimal and Deep Tech elements tighten the rhythm. Marshall Jefferson’s Lock The Doors in the Cassimm remix briefly shifts the energy toward classic House before the closing section intensifies.
Carbon’s Entrance and djseanEboy’s Atman bring the session to a heavier conclusion with Peak Time Techno energy. Across the full mix, DJ Graham Gold balances melodic, progressive and driving underground sounds while maintaining a cohesive and atmospheric flow throughout.
