French DJ King Flow has released the tracklist for his new weekly show, Mixtape Addict, featuring the best Hip Hop, Rap and Boom Bap songs. Scientific Sound Asia operates as a Hip Hop radio station, promoter, and DJ agency for the Asian region, catering to a worldwide audience.

French prodigy DJ King Flow has been saturating the Hip Hop scene in France and beyond with his mixtapes from the young age of 14 fascinated with 90s Hip Hop, 90s Rap, and Hip hop history. Renowned for his Hip Hop beats as a producer, he has crafted productions for world star Hip Hop artists such as Ras Kass, Torae, Juicy J, Tragedy Khadafi, O.C., and Khujo Goodie of Goodie Mob.

Since 2012, he has been travelling between the Hip Hop strongholds of New York, Miami, Dallas, Providence, and Seattle to establish a transatlantic movement, learning about Hip Hop in the USA and Canada with his long-time partner, Young Amsterdam.

The concept of Mixtape Addict emerged at the end of 2015. King Flow established the brand and elevated it to international prominence. In early 2019, the team embarked on a journey across France, Canada, and New York to introduce a new series of Hip Hop News and video interviews with Hip Hop rappers titled Mixtape Addict Report, which has since become historic.

Mixtape Addict Episode 1 reintroduces DJ King Flow’s sharp curation of Boom Bap and Underground Hip Hop. The mix bridges classic lyricism with modern production, featuring artists who define both the heritage and the evolution of the culture.

The show opens with Con Marvelous – Ace High and Famoso’s Enemy of My Enemy, setting a gritty tone steeped in traditional New York Boom Bap. As Kadiz – John Doe and Jamal Gasol & 38 Spesh – It’s Still a Game follow, the mood turns cinematic and reflective, driven by hard drums and stories from the streets.

Mid-set, the energy intensifies as DJ King Flow’s own productions—Niggaz Wonder Why with Drazmatik & Pacewon and Ooh Wee (Remix) for Black Stax—showcase his ability to blend classic sample work with raw East Coast percussion. Che Noir’s Brains for Dinner and Jus One & Grea8Gawd’s Captain America highlight the lyrical weight of the current underground scene, while Ras Kass, RJ Payne & Havoc’s Roll Call featuring Method Man & M.O.P proves that multi-generation collaborations can still sound explosive.

Toward the finale, Tiske Sanka – Nuketown, Tragedy Khadafi – Respectfully, and Cypress Hill & Dizzy Wright – Bye Bye offer global perspectives rooted in Boom Bap foundations. Iconic names like KRS-One, Onyx, and Rhyme Assassin close the set with unfiltered bars, reminding listeners why Hip Hop remains a culture of substance and skill. Episode 1 captures the essence of Boom Bap’s past, present, and future through DJ King Flow’s ear for authenticity.

Mixtape Addict Episode 2 expands the vision of Mixtape Addict, bringing a refined blend of Boom Bap, Conscious Rap, and lyrical storytelling. DJ King Flow balances global collaborations with timeless Hip Hop production, weaving his own tracks among giants like Pete Rock, Ghostface Killah, and Ras Kass.

The show begins with Snowgoons – Got What You Need, fusing cinematic intensity and European precision with East Coast grit. Rufus Sims & IamGawd follow with Jim Duggin, delivering hardcore lyricism before Cory Gunz & Chris Rivers – Die Slowly raises the bar for modern flow and technical mastery. Capleton & Napoleon Da Legend bridge dancehall fire with political awareness, giving the early section both heat and conscience.

DJ King Flow steps forward with Piraterie featuring Souli B & Maze, and later Think About It with QB Rap-P—two tracks that demonstrate his dedication to authentic sample-based Boom Bap with a global touch. Veterans like Common & Pete Rock bring soulful relief with Dreamin and Think Twice, followed by Common Language from Black Stax & Tiske Sanka, which highlights unity through music. Z-Ro & Shaq’s Stop The Rain and Shaq & Biggie’s Can’t Stop the Reign bring nostalgic crossover energy, showing how Hip Hop transcends eras and genres.

In the later stretch, Abyss & Ren Thomas deliver heartfelt storytelling with Better Days, while Ghostface Killah – One injects Wu-Tang’s unmistakable grit. Jahan Nostra & DJ Clif’s The French Stimulus adds international flair, followed by T.O Lestat – No Apologies and Prince Fellaga & Dany Dan – Vision, reinforcing the show’s cross-continental scope. Heavy hitters like D-Block & The Alchemist – Boost the Crime Rate and Ras Kass & Twista – Once Again It’s On ensure the finale hits hard, before Emskee & Jake Palumbo’s Ship Em Out wraps the episode with pure underground essence.

Across both episodes, DJ King Flow proves why Mixtape Addict remains a pillar for raw lyricism, international collaboration, and dedication to true Boom Bap Hip Hop.
