Scientific Sound Asia is proud to announce that DJ Tony Pavia will be starting a new show One Tribe on our station. Scientific Sound Asia is an underground electronic music station serving the Asian region with an international following.
Tony Pavia is a Filipino DJ and producer hailing from Quezon City, the Philippines. He has been performing as a disc jockey for over 23 years.
He performs regular events in the capital Manila as well as a residency on the isle of Boracay. He has performed at renowned venues such as Warehouse 135, Ascend, Government, Embassy, Mezze, Bora Bar, Flava Bar and most recently Time.Not.
He has performed at events in the Asian region with his highlight being Downtempo and Code in Bangkok. His main genres are Afro House, Deep House, Tribal House, Tech House and Techno.
He regularly performs for Marlboro events across the Philippines honing his art and style. DJing remains his passion but recently he has delved into production and remixing.
His first track The Drums Are Calling Me was released on Kult Records (NYC) followed by I'm A Freak on Quanza Records. His most recent release is the Maharlika EP for Made In Miami Records. This show originally aired on Thursday the 6th of July 2023, listen to the Mixcloud player below.
