DJ Marco Mei of Bicycle Corporation returns with a new edition of his radio show on Scientific Sound Asia. The platform operates as an Asian electronic music radio station, DJ agency and promoter, while also publishing music news and connecting audiences across the region and internationally.
With a career spanning more than three decades, Marco has developed a sound shaped by Afro-influenced rhythms, deep house foundations and club-driven energy. His approach reflects a strong connection to the dancefloor, supported by experience and a refined selection style built over time.
Marco’s journey began in the early 1990s in Turin, where he became involved in the city’s underground scene. Through the Urban People collective, he helped organise independent events that contributed to Italy’s early electronic music movement.
A key stage in his career came with a residency at Pacha in Sharm el-Sheikh. This period expanded his international profile and led to performances at venues such as Woo Bar in Bali, The Mansion in Shanghai, Fuse in Brussels and The Observatory in Ho Chi Minh City.
In 2009, he partnered with Stefano Ugliano, also known as 6884, to form Bicycle Corporation. Since then, the duo have released more than fifty tracks and remixes across Deep House, Tech House, French House and Techno on labels including Alchemy, Miniatures, WL77, Suka and GrooveTraxx.
Their productions are known for combining melodic detail with functional club structure, maintaining a balance between groove, arrangement and dancefloor impact. This approach has established Bicycle Corporation as a consistent presence within the underground house and techno scene.
Now based in Taipei, Marco Mei remains active across the Asian electronic music landscape. Through his regular broadcasts, he continues to present carefully curated sets that balance underground foundations with contemporary club sounds, reflecting both experience and ongoing artistic development.
Marco Mei 2026 episode 14 opens with Eli Escobar setting a Classic House tone through Touch Want Feel, before shifting into Electro territory with Body Free. Frwctrl and Double Exposure introduce a Disco-led groove with Pan’s Lido and My Love Is Free, establishing a strong foundation rooted in classic club sounds.
Momentum builds through Eros and Basile De Suresnes, where Disco and House blend seamlessly across Eros 01X and So Good. Brainstorm’s remix by Dimitri From Paris reinforces the Disco influence, while Cheryl Lynn brings a soulful House moment with You Saved My Day.
The middle section leans further into Classic House as D.H. Pinhas and Dam Swindle deliver groove-driven selections through Babaji and Feel It Much. Diego Barrera and Eli Escobar continue this direction, while Eros returns with layered Disco and Electro elements that keep the rhythm evolving.
A deeper House progression follows with Fabio Monesi and First Choice, where Body Juice and The Player bring vocal and classic club influences. Foremost Poets and Harry Romero maintain a steady groove, while Louie Vega adds a refined, soulful edge with How He Works.
The later stages shift back into Disco territory with JKriv and Den Harrow, where In The Clouds and Future Brain introduce a more retro, groove-led energy. John Noseda brings a subtle Indie Dance variation, while Kungs and Boys Noize add a more contemporary club moment with Get Away.
The closing stretch blends Classic House and Disco influences, maintaining a consistent groove while drawing from both original cuts and reworked edits. The result is a session rooted in classic dancefloor foundations, balanced with modern production and refined selection throughout.
DJ Marco Mei is set to perform live on Saturday, April 11th, 2026, from 6 to 8 PM Indochina Time (ICT). If you miss it, you can watch a replay on Wednesday from 6 to 8 AM (ICT).
