El Brujo has announced the guest DJ Makaja Gonzales for 'The Wild Bunch' episode 30. Scientific Sound Asia is the expatriate and local underground electronic music station for Japan, India, China, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, the Philippines and the rest of the globe.
El Brujo (first hour) real name, Robert Milanesi was born and raised in Italy in 1964. From a very young age, he became something of a music addict with a taste for many different genres.
Still, it was those hypnotic beats of electronic music that quickly became a firm favourite of his. As he came of age, his undying love for music grew with him and it soon became clear to himself and all those around him that this was to be his life.
The young Robert worked tirelessly on his musical endeavours. Making it his mission to bring something new and groundbreaking to audiences across Italy and then one day the world.
Always pushing the boundaries and tenaciously striving to reach new heights, Robert's determination brings those electronic sounds onto the Italian music scene and proved unwavering in the eyes of the naysayers. By the mid-90s, Robert's dreams were now finally becoming reality.
When after such hard work, dedication and of course his own creative talent, Robert had become well known as one of the founding fathers of the underground rave scene in Bologna, Italy. His first official release came in 2008 with its title, ‘Warriors’ on the Milan label, Open Legs. Jambalay Records, his label was launched at their opening party in n Ibiza, Spain in 2010.
The label and El Brujo then burst onto the worldwide scene with legendary Maya Jane Coles first charting his track, Mozambique in collaboration with Big Mojo, on his first CD release ‘Nutty Fellas Are Go.’ Then in January 2019, his release, ‘Plastic Dreams ’on Frame Worxx ranked number #33 in the Beatport Hard Techno Top 100.
El Brujo has released on labels such as Elektrax, Frame Workxx, Lw Recordings, Subwoofer and many others. In May 2022 he was charted by DJ Rush and his track '' Shit Happens '' reached position number 10 in the Beatport top 100 for Jackin House.
His unique sound and creations are interstellar in his ‘Raw’ approach to the many different genres he conceives in his own musical innovation. Every month El Brujo will be giving us a guest DJ from his 'Wild Bunch' of Techno producers and artists.

This week's guest DJ (second hour) is Makaja Gonzales, Makaja Gonzales real name is Alexander Hartmans and he is a Dutch Techno music producer, and founder and owner of Frame Workxx Records which was established in 2016. MaKaJa Gonzales is a music producer, composer and a former radio host of Fnoob Radio UK, Stormkraftradio-FM (CH) and DJ International Radio.
His career as a disc jockey started in 1983 as a deejay for Radio Contact in the Netherlands, together with Andrew McGabe and Michel van der Linde. He grew up in the 1970s with new music influences like Disco and Funk on the airwaves.
In the early 80's he got more interested in Electro Funk and in the mid, to late-eighties Hip House, early House, Chicago House music and in the 1990's Techno became his passion. His techno music style is a combination of Deep, Dark, Industrial, House and Tek to which he experiments with the 80s feel.
In 2010 after years of absence he started experimenting again. In 2012 he started with Frame Workxx and in 2013 he got his first radio show on Fnoob Radio (UK).
In 2013 and 2014 he got Frame Workxx Radio shows on Stromkraftradio FM and DJ International radio (The Netherlands). Early in 2014 after 3 years of making track mixes and mashups, he released his first album called Redline on the Italian label Subwoofer Records.
In 2016 he started his own label Frame Workxx Records. His mix features his favourite productions throughout his journey. In January 2022, he started a dance classics podcast series, featuring Soul, Funk and Disco music from the seventies and eighties.
