DJ Nocturne is back for Cali’s HouseNation Radio with guest DJ Bets.

Cali's HouseNation Radio returns with episode 285 on Scientific Sound Asia, hosted by DJ Nocturne of Digital Audio Kingz. Scientific Sound Asia is an Asian electronic music radio station, DJ agency and promoter, publishing music news and connecting audiences across the region and internationally.

Episode 285 opens with a set from Nocturne before a guest mix from DJ Bets adds a further wave of groove and house energy to the show. The combination of host and guest material gives the episode a broad range across the house music spectrum.

Originally from Los Angeles, Nocturne began his DJ career in 2007 under the name DJ Turiz, working across Southern California with sets that moved through reggaeton, hip hop and Latin genres including bachata, merengue, salsa and cumbia. That versatility gave him a strong foothold across the club circuit before his direction shifted.

In 2013, he moved into electronic music, teaming up with DJ MORE to form Digital Audio Kingz and gaining exposure on FM radio. By 2018, he had rebranded as Nocturne and launched Cali's HouseNation Radio, a house and dance mix show that has since grown into a globally syndicated platform through the CHNR Syndication Network.

Now based in San Diego with operations also running out of Los Angeles, Nocturne continues to develop his sound through projects including On the Deep End, focused on deep, progressive and melodic house and techno, and Deep House Sessions. His mixes are available via DAK Music, with house music and its energy at the centre of everything he puts out.

This week's guest on Cali's HouseNation Radio is Bets, a California-born DJ and producer active in the underground house music scene. His selections are built around groove and dancefloor energy, drawing on the foundational sounds of house while bringing his own edge to every set.

As a producer he has placed releases on labels including Relyte, Funday Music, Diynamic Records, Worm Records, Cartel Collective, Groove-ism and Dad Bod Records. That catalogue reflects a consistent focus on deep rhythms and underground authenticity.

On the live front he has performed extensively across Southern California at venues including Sound Nightclub, 1720 Warehouse, Academy, Avalon, Catch One and The Circle. Further appearances in Las Vegas at ClubEgo and a festival debut at One Love Fest in Arizona have broadened his reach beyond the club circuit.

DJ Nocturne opens episode 285 with Jackin House energy. Toni Varga's Sweet Obsession and Julian Collazos' Spirited set the tone early. Funky House follows with Steve Tosi's Like A Virgin and Tom and Mikey's Feelings For You. Tech House selections from IDEMI and Irwin Romero sharpen the groove before How Ii House's Time To Feel The Rhythm introduces a Deep House touch to close the first hour.

DJ Bets opens the second hour with Jewel Kid and Matt Sassari's Get Down Low. A run of house-driven cuts from Orly17 follows, including Don't Waste My Time and Speak House. Bets and Hackerbeatz edits of classics from The Flirts and S.O.S. Band weave in a nostalgic thread midway through.

Tech house returns with Jude and Frank and FDVM's Touch Me and Sophia Guerrero's Gimme Your Number pushing the energy higher. Smokin Jo and James Hurr's Feel Real Good and Camila Jun's Take Giggles keep the momentum building.

The closing stretch settles back into house territory. Fergie's London Bridge re-edit and Mark Knight and Darius Syrossian's Get This Feeling lead the way. Wh0 and Sam Frandisco's In My Soul and CASSIMM's House Ain't Gigin Up round out a session that moves fluidly between house, tech house, jackin house and funky house throughout.
