DJ Marco Mei of Bicycle Corporation returns with a new edition of his radio show on Scientific Sound Asia. The platform operates as an Asian electronic music radio station, DJ agency and promoter, while also publishing music news and connecting audiences across the region and internationally.
With a career spanning more than three decades, Marco has developed a sound shaped by Afro-influenced rhythms, deep house foundations and club-focused energy. His approach reflects a strong connection to the dancefloor, supported by experience and a refined selection style built over time.
Marco’s journey began in the early 1990s in Turin, where he became involved in the city’s underground scene. Through the Urban People collective, he helped organise independent events that contributed to Italy’s early electronic music movement.
A key stage in his career came with a residency at Pacha in Sharm el-Sheikh. This period expanded his international presence and led to performances at venues including Woo Bar in Bali, The Mansion in Shanghai, Fuse in Brussels and The Observatory in Ho Chi Minh City.
In 2009, he partnered with Stefano Ugliano, also known as 6884, to form Bicycle Corporation. Since then, the duo have released more than fifty tracks and remixes across Deep House, Tech House, French House and Techno on labels including Alchemy, Miniatures, WL77, Suka and GrooveTraxx.
Their productions are recognised for combining melodic detail with functional club structure, maintaining a balance between groove, arrangement and dancefloor impact. This approach has helped establish Bicycle Corporation as a consistent presence within the underground house and techno scene.
Now based in Taipei, Marco Mei remains active across the Asian electronic music landscape. Through his regular broadcasts, he continues to present carefully curated sets that balance underground foundations with contemporary club sounds, reflecting both experience and ongoing artistic development.
Marco Mei 2026 episode 13 opens with a Disco House and House blend as ANOTR and Byron Stingily establish a groove-led direction through Talk To You and You Make Me Feel Mighty Real, followed by Collect 200 bringing a more club-focused feel with Pull Up. D.H. Pinhas and Daft Punk maintain the rhythm with Babaji and Around The World, while Fatboy Slim introduces a funk-driven edge with Retox.
Momentum builds through Gusto and BC with Disco’s Revenge and Feelin Right, keeping the groove tight before Gudfella and Jitwam shift into Indie Dance territory with Morning Coffee. Illyus and Barrientos and Kristin Velvet bring the focus back to the dancefloor with Peoples Prty and Push, while Nic Fanciulli and Nick Curly push into a more driving Tech House section with Revolution and Underground.
The middle section continues with Mateo and Matos and Neverdogs, blending House Music with deeper and minimal influences through Maw Basics and Firefly. Niconé and ProOne79 maintain the flow with Hype Is Not and Nobody Else, while Overweight Pooch and Ce Ce Peniston bring a classic vocal House moment with I Like It.
The closing stretch moves through Shakelife and Trans-X, adding Disco and retro influences with Like A Victory and Living On Video, before the Unknown Artist selections and Tony Dee tracks carry the groove forward. The final run with Bombers leans into Disco energy with (Everybody) Get Dancing, rounding off a session that balances classic House foundations with modern club sounds.
DJ Marco Mei will be performing live on Saturday, March 28th, 2026, from 6 to 8 PM Indochina Time (ICT). If you can't catch it, a replay will be available on Wednesday from 6 to 8 AM (ICT).
