Italian DJ and producer Marco Mei, the creative force behind Bicycle Corporation, returns with a new edition of his long-running radio show on Scientific Sound Asia. The station operates as an underground radio platform, DJ agency and event promoter based in Asia with an international audience, supporting electronic and urban music through broadcasts, events and collaborations that connect artists and listeners across the region and beyond.

With a career spanning more than three decades, Marco has developed a sound shaped by Afro-influenced rhythms, deep house foundations and driving club energy. His connection to the dancefloor, combined with extensive experience and refined track selection, has earned him recognition across Europe, Asia and other parts of the international club circuit.

Marco’s journey began in the early 1990s in Turin, where he became closely involved in the city’s underground club culture. Influenced by house, techno and Afro-rooted grooves, he co-founded the Urban People collective, contributing to Italy’s early electronic music movement by organising independent parties and events outside the commercial mainstream.

An important stage of his career followed with a residency at Pacha in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. The residency helped expand his international profile and led to performances at venues including Woo Bar in Bali, The Mansion in Shanghai, Fuse in Brussels and The Observatory in Ho Chi Minh City, among many others.

In 2009, Marco joined forces with Italian producer Stefano Ugliano, also known as 6884, to form Bicycle Corporation. Since then the duo have released more than fifty tracks and remixes across deep house, tech house, French house and techno on labels such as Alchemy, Miniatures, WL77, Suka and GrooveTraxx. Their productions combine strong club functionality with melodic detail and thoughtful arrangement, earning consistent support within the underground electronic music scene.

Now based in Taipei, DJ Marco Mei continues to play an active role in the region’s electronic music landscape. Through his regular broadcasts on Scientific Sound Asia he draws on decades of experience to present carefully curated sets that reflect underground heritage while engaging with contemporary club sounds.

DJ Marco Mei opens episode 11 with a vibrant disco influence as Cathedrals in The Unorthodox remix, D-D-D and Feed The Flame introduce a Nu Disco direction built around classic grooves and modern edits. Autumn Love and Wanna Touch gradually guide the session toward a steady House rhythm, with House Is Feeling and Accidental Fringe reinforcing a strong dancefloor pulse.

The groove continues through Blow Your Whistle in the Jansons remix and Dancer in its refreshed version, blending classic House sensibilities with disco-inspired energy. In The Air adds a deeper club feel before the Whitesquare remix of 4ME and Mark Seven’s Egyptian Groove bring a smooth Deep House progression.

Energy shifts into a tighter club groove with Voices in the Riva Starr remix and the reworked version of Thriller, both leaning into Tech House rhythm. Ain’t Nobody returns briefly to a warmer House flow before the Sgt Slick recut of White Horse introduces a synth-driven retro touch.

The closing stretch widens stylistically as Booyah brings UK Garage bassline bounce and the Lee Foss and Micah Baxter remix of Move Your Body reconnects with classic House roots. Kingston Groove, Activated and Planet 2 Planet continue the club momentum before Harry Romero’s Witness closes the session with a driving Disco House groove, giving episode 11 a balanced journey across disco edits, house rhythms and modern club sounds.

DJ Marco Mei is scheduled to perform live on Saturday, March 14th, 2026, from 6 to 8 PM Indochina Time (ICT). If you miss it, you can watch the replay on Wednesday from 6 to 8 AM (ICT).
