French DJ and producer DJ King Flow returns with another instalment of Mixtape Addict, delivering a razor-sharp selection of underground hip hop alongside an exclusive interview with Klassik, CEO of Fleet DJs. Broadcast via Scientific Sound Asia, the Vietnam-based international radio station and DJ agency, the show continues to champion lyrical excellence, DJ craftsmanship, and true-school authenticity.
Starting his career at just 14, DJ King Flow quickly developed a signature style rooted in Boom Bap yet refreshed with modern edge. His sets showcase a deep reverence for hip hop’s golden era while highlighting contemporary underground voices, earning him recognition across the global scene.
Over the years, he has collaborated with legends such as Ras Kass, Tragedy Khadafi, O.C., Juicy J, and Khujo Goodie, bridging generations of artists and keeping the culture’s legacy alive. Since its launch in 2015, Mixtape Addict has evolved into a full platform supporting independent hip hop through interviews, radio broadcasts, and mixtape releases.
Beyond the decks, DJ King Flow continues to push boundaries as a producer. His instrumental album The Adventures of F.J. Parker showcases his versatility through a fusion of smooth jazz, house rhythms, gritty hip hop, and soulful R&B. Recent singles, including Money and Give the Town Some Hope, further highlight his growth as an artist.
This week’s guest, Klassik, shares insights on building one of the world’s largest DJ coalitions and the importance of unity within the culture. Together, DJ King Flow and Klassik bring another episode that celebrates independence, collaboration, and the enduring spirit of real hip hop.

Interview Guest: KLASSIK.
Klassik is the founder and CEO of the Worldwide Fleet DJs Coalition, a global DJ collective that spans hundreds of members across the U.S., U.K., Africa, Qatar, Bermuda, and beyond. He is credited with building what started as a small crew into a large-scale network that connects DJs, artists, and industry creatives internationally.
Originating from Newark, New Jersey, Klassik co-founded Fleet DJs under the name “Kompazz Fleet,” which evolved into one of the largest DJ organisations in the world. Under his leadership, Fleet DJs has expanded into multiple branches: Fleet Radio Network, mobile apps, magazine & digital media, event production, and artist services. The organisation reportedly supports over 80 radio stations and maintains strong ties to mixtape culture, DJ coalitions, and underground hip-hop communities.
Klassik’s vision for Fleet DJs emphasises community, infrastructure, and opportunity. He frames the collective not merely as a DJ crew but as a platform for artists, DJs, and entrepreneurs to connect, elevate, and push culture forward together. Through events like the annual Fleet DJs Music Conference and a documentary titled “Beyond the Turntables,” he showcases the collective’s history, mission, and cultural impact.
As a guest on a hip-hop show, Klassik would bring insight into what it takes to grow a global DJ coalition, balance creative and business roles, and foster unity among independent artists and DJs. His experience speaks to both the roots of mixtape-era DJ culture and the current demands of digital platforms, radio networks, and modern music entrepreneurship.
The set opens with The Fleet DJs and Kokane, paying homage to the culture through classic Boom Bap grooves. Khujo Goodie’s Pray For Me and Rapsody’s Daddy’s Girl bring introspective lyrics and soulful tones, bridging the spirit of Southern and Conscious Hip Hop with timeless production.
Mobb Deep and OT The Real bring a raw East Coast flavour, their verses laced with street wisdom and reflective grit. Rick Hyde’s What More Can I Say continues that lineage with Buffalo’s new school edge, while Thought Provokah and Planet Asia elevate the energy with sharp lyricism.
Westside Gunn’s Stain and Agallah’s Strive For More add cinematic Boom Bap production, balancing new and old-school techniques. DJ King Flow steps to the forefront on Money with Lex Lakaiser and closes the set with Butcher, a hard-hitting posse cut that reinforces the mixtape’s rugged sound.
The episode wraps with an exclusive interview with KLASSIK, where Flow digs into his creative path, perspectives on today’s Hip Hop scene, and collaboration with independent artists. It’s a solid hour of beats, bars, and raw conversation for Hip Hop purists.
The live broadcast is scheduled for Tuesday, October 7th, 2025, from 8 PM to 10 PM Indochina Time (ICT), with a replay planned for Saturday from 8 AM to 10 AM (ICT).
