Graham Gold unveils Esta La Musica episode 592, broadcast on Scientific Sound Asia, the international electronic music news platform, DJ agency and promoter connecting listeners across Asia and worldwide with underground electronic sounds.

A celebrated British DJ with more than four decades behind the decks, Graham Gold remains one of the most recognisable figures in electronic music. Known for his technical precision, infectious energy and deep musical knowledge, he continues to engage audiences through a sound that blends house, progressive house, melodic techno and deep tech.

His longevity reflects both adaptability and a consistent understanding of dancefloor dynamics across generations. Ranked in DJ Magazine’s Top 100 DJs for eight consecutive years, Graham’s influence on global club culture is significant.

His breakthrough came through London’s renowned Peach club nights and his long-running residency on Kiss 100 FM, where his radio shows reached international audiences and helped define an important period in electronic music broadcasting. Before achieving global recognition, Graham built his reputation across London’s underground during the 1970s and 1980s, including a decade-long residency at Gulliver’s Club in Mayfair.

His early passion for Afrocentric rhythms led to the creation of The Funky Road Show, a mobile disco concept that introduced reggae, soul, disco and jazz-funk to dancefloors across the city. During this time, he was also active on pirate radio before later joining Capital FM, where he received the Broadcaster of the Year award in 1985.

These foundations supported a career that expanded internationally, taking him to more than 150 cities across over 40 countries. His appearances have included major global events such as Glastonbury Festival, Gatecrasher, God's Kitchen and Street Parade. Alongside his touring work, he has sold more than 700,000 compilation albums, earning six Gold and four Silver BPI certifications, further underlining his impact on the global scene.

As a producer, broadcaster and tastemaker, Graham Gold continues to support both established and emerging artists through Esta La Musica. The show’s name, inspired by a tattoo he received during a tour in the United States in the 1990s, reflects a long-standing connection to music, rhythm and club culture. His broadcasts maintain a balance between classic influences and contemporary selections, reinforcing his relevance within the modern landscape.

Now based in Thailand, Graham remains closely connected to the regional electronic music scene, performing regularly in cities such as Bangkok, Pattaya and Koh Phangan. His appearance at Retro Mountain in early 2025 reaffirmed his ongoing relationship with audiences across Asia, demonstrating a continued presence that bridges established legacy with current underground activity.

Esta La Musica episode 592 by DJ Graham Gold opens with a strong Progressive House foundation as Ewan Rill and Circulation set the tone through Nature Pentacles and Sun Angel. Oliver and Alain introduce a deeper groove with Celestial Roots, before Mum (BoI) moves into Melodic House and Techno territory with Higher, creating a smooth early transition.

Momentum builds through Frannz and Gregory S, where Barad-dûr and Silver Horizon blend Indie Dance and melodic elements. Alex Kislov and Ed Steele, with Anna Speedy, reinforce the Progressive structure with Sanctuary and Don't Leave Me, keeping the flow consistent and atmospheric.

A shift in intensity comes with DCLVIII OFC’s My Secret, introducing Peak Time Techno into the mix. Nikita Rising follows with Vixen, bringing a more groove-driven Indie Dance feel that contrasts with the heavier section.

The set continues to evolve with Andrea Appolloni and Orlyster, where Cheza introduces Afro House rhythms alongside melodic elements. Cocho maintains this direction with Porta, keeping the energy balanced between melodic progression and rhythm.

The later stages move back toward Progressive House with Lexce’s Bounce, reinforcing the core sound of the set. Mar Dean adds another Peak Time moment with Magic Remedy, bringing a driving edge before the final transition.

The closing stretch is guided by Maindain’s Step Back, returning to Melodic House and Melodic Techno and rounding off a cohesive journey. Across the full session, DJ Graham Gold blends Progressive House with melodic and peak-time techno elements, maintaining a steady underground flow throughout.

Don’t miss this amazing live show on Saturday, April 25th, 2026, from 8 PM to 10 PM Indochina Time (ICT), with a replay available on Wednesday from 8 AM to 10 AM (ICT).
