Château Bonheur Musique Launches With Aurien & Jab Vix Single Empatia

Aurien, the downtempo project of Paul van Dyk, launches Château Bonheur Musique.

Château Bonheur Musique opens its catalogue with 'Empatia', a new collaboration between Aurien and Jab Vix that introduces the musical identity of the newly launched imprint. Built around downtempo textures, ambient atmospheres and warm electronic rhythms, the release arrives on 19th June and marks the beginning of a label conceived around mood, emotion and immersive listening experiences.

Founded through the Aurien project, the label represents another creative avenue for Paul van Dyk. While best known for his contributions to trance music, the German producer has increasingly explored broader forms of electronic expression, with the Aurien alias focusing on melodic depth, subtle arrangements and slower tempos rooted in chill electronica and downtempo sounds.

Château Bonheur Musique has been imagined as a "boutique hotel of sound", with each release forming a different room within the wider concept. Rather than functioning as a traditional label, the project aims to create an environment where atmosphere and feeling remain central to the listening experience.

The opening release sees Aurien collaborate with producer Jab Vix on 'Empatia', a composition built around fluid rhythms and understated melodic elements. Balancing ambient textures with soft electronic grooves, the track captures the intimate and escapist aesthetic that sits at the heart of the label. An accompanying 'Elegant Mix' offers an alternative interpretation, delivering a more restrained arrangement while preserving the emotional character of the original version.

Through Château Bonheur Musique, Paul van Dyk continues to expand the wider VANDIT Label Group beyond its established foundations. Alongside the uplifting energy of VANDIT Records, the progressive sounds of VANDIT Alternative and the peak-time focus of VANTEC, the new imprint provides a home for chill electronica, ambient, lounge and downtempo music.

As the first chapter in the label's story, 'Empatia' establishes a sonic direction built around warmth, atmosphere and melodic expression, introducing listeners to a side of electronic music designed as much for reflection as for the dancefloor.
