Bicycle Corporation has released the playlist for episode 109 of their acclaimed radio series Foundations. Broadcast on Scientific Sound Asia, the show continues to highlight the station’s mission as a leading online platform, DJ agency, and event organiser, connecting listeners across Asia and beyond through cutting-edge electronic music.

Bicycle Corporation is the long-running collaboration between Italian DJ and producer Marco Mei and classically trained musician Stefano Ugliano, also known by his alias 6884. Together, they have released more than fifty tracks across the spectrum of house and techno, from French House and Deep House to Tech House and beyond. Their music honours the foundations of club culture while embracing a constantly evolving, forward-thinking sound.

Marco began his career in the early 1990s within Italy’s underground house and techno scene. As a founding member of the Urban People collective, he quickly earned a reputation for his dynamic and technically refined DJ sets. His success soon brought him international bookings across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, where he helped build connections between regional underground scenes.

Stefano, based in Torino, grew up surrounded by music. Encouraged by his family, he studied classical piano, percussion, and drums, developing an appreciation for the expressive range of both Western and global traditions, including West African Djembe rhythms. While rooted in classical training, he was drawn to the creative freedom of electronic music, leading him toward production and DJing.

In an era when electronic music was still emerging in Italy, Stefano’s passion for sound design and rhythm led to his collaboration with Marco. Their shared vision, curiosity, and technical skill formed Bicycle Corporation, a project that continues to balance musicality and innovation.

Since their formation, the duo have established a solid presence in the underground community, releasing on respected labels such as Alchemy, Suka Records, Miniatures, WL77, and GrooveTraxx. They have also reissued several of their early works through their Bandcamp page, offering fans insight into the roots of their creative journey.

With Foundations, Marco and Stefano continue to celebrate the past while pushing toward the future. Episode 109 adds a new chapter to their evolving story, delivering a set that blends deep grooves, melodic layers, and the timeless spirit of house and techno that defines Bicycle Corporation’s sound.

Episode 109 opens with Adana Twins & Upercent’s Make Me Feel and Amour Propre’s Try, setting the stage with a rush of Indie Dance emotion. The energy stays vibrant as Askar & Pippi Ciez’s Machine (Dawn Breaks) layers melodic tension before Bruno Bellissimo’s Mirage adds a sun-drenched Balearic touch. It’s an introduction that pulses between cinematic rhythm and open-air dancefloor freedom.

Midway through, the mix leans deeper into Indie Dance with Disfreq & mOat’s Running Up That Hill and Power by Askar & Pippi Ciez. DMX Krew’s Tunnel Beneath Precinct 11 introduces Electro House grit, while I Need (Italo Version) from DJ City & Manuel Darquart channels 80s nostalgia through Deep House warmth. Empire Of The Sun’s Walking On A Dream remix and DJ Rage’s Waiting push the energy higher with vibrant, vocal-led moments.

German Brigante’s Party People and Take Control mark the return of Melodic House & Techno textures, merging seamlessly with Dust by Jamie Stevens and French for Rabbits, remixed by Hernan Cattaneo & Mercurio. The set’s intensity peaks with Jonathan Kaspar’s Yah and Josh Gigante’s Sensation, balancing driving Techno precision with Indie Dance euphoria.

The closing section drifts between groove and emotion. EY by Sama (US) and Backtracking by Trevino keep the House focus intact, while Âme Et L’Or by Vintage Culture and Running To The Sea by Röyksopp & Disfreq evoke a melodic serenity that Bicycle Corporation shape perfectly. Acamar by Frankey & Sandrino seals the night in Progressive House style, blending depth, rhythm, and soul, a signature finish from one of Scientific Sound Asia’s most consistent duos.

Tune in to the live broadcast on Friday, October 10th, 2025, between 10 PM and 12 AM Indochina Time (ICT), and catch the replay on Tuesday from 10 AM to 12 PM (ICT).
