Bicycle Corporation has released the playlist for episode 107 of their well-respected radio show Foundations. Broadcast on Scientific Sound Asia, the series continues to highlight the station’s role as a leading online platform, DJ agency, and event organiser, connecting listeners across Asia and beyond through innovative electronic music.

Bicycle Corporation is the enduring collaboration between Italian DJ and producer Marco Mei and classically trained musician Stefano Ugliano, also known by his alias 6884. Together, they have produced more than 50 tracks, spanning French House, Deep House, Tech House, and Techno. Their sound pays homage to the origins of club culture while maintaining a modern, forward-looking approach.

Marco began his career in the early 1990s within Italy’s underground House and Techno scene. As a founding member of the Urban People collective, he quickly established a reputation for technically skilled and energetic DJ sets. His rise soon led to international bookings across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

Stefano, from Torino, was immersed in music from an early age. With encouragement from his family, he studied classical piano, percussion, and drumming, building a rich foundation influenced by Chopin as well as global rhythms such as West African Djembe. Although grounded in traditional training, his interest in the creative freedom of electronic music drew him towards DJing and production.

At a time when electronic music had little exposure on Italian radio, Stefano’s passion for rhythm and sound design brought him into contact with Marco. Their shared vision and complementary skills formed the basis of Bicycle Corporation, a project built on curiosity, dedication, and a drive to innovate.

Since then, the duo has become a recognised presence in underground music, with releases on labels including Alchemy, Suka Records, Miniatures, WL77, and GrooveTraxx. They remain grounded in their roots, with their Bandcamp page offering fans access to early material that showcases the foundation of their creative journey.

Through Foundations, Marco and Stefano continue to honour their influences while exploring new directions. Episode 107 adds a fresh chapter to their story, delivering a set that reflects both their deep respect for tradition and their ongoing evolution as artists.

The set opens with Jamie Stevens’ Dust in the Hernan Cattaneo & Mercurio remix, laying down Progressive House atmospheres, before switching gears with Sacha Robotti & Victoria Rawlins’ Say It in a sharp Tech House frame. Vintage Culture’s Do You and Space balance Bass House drive with Melodic House & Techno textures, before Tigerblind’s Battery Operated adds an Electro House bite.

The Chemical Brothers’ Do It Again (Massano Remix) brings big-room Melodic House & Techno energy, followed by Pancratio’s Artificial Intelligence and I Promise, which lean into Tech House and House moods. Jonathan Kaspar’s Yah provides a dark Techno (Peak Time / Driving) surge, while Hard To Tell and Audio Junkies’ remix for DJ Chus & Cevin Fisher explore deeper House grooves.

Midway, Vintage Culture returns with Âme Et L’Or, a heavy Bass House cut, while HOMIEZ lifts the tone with melodic colours. Severin Su & Julian Koerndl continue this path, blending into Soma Soul & Ed Begley’s Afro House highlight As We Fall In (Lehar Remix). Tracks by Matt & Juan Brizuela, Ugo Banchi, and Juan Hansen with Damon Jee add Indie Dance and more Melodic House & Techno flavours, intensifying the flow.

The final stretch brings standout cuts from GENESI & Equinøx, Adriatique with Notre Dame and Timbaland, and Eric Prydz’s collaboration with Empire Of The Sun. Melodic House & Techno dominates the close, contrasted by Switch Disco’s Hideaway in Matt Sassari’s Dance remix, and Antic’s Indie Dance finale. This wide-ranging journey proves Bicycle Corporation’s Foundations series continues to deliver club-ready and forward-looking sounds.
