Bicycle Corporation guest DJ Giorgio Leone will be presenting his next 'Electronic Roots' show. Scientific Sound Asia is an Asian electronic music station for the region and internationally.
Bicycle Corporation is an Italian duo of the DJ and Producer Marco Mei plus the skilled Stefano Ugliano aka 6884. In the early nineties, Marco was starting on his musical journey as a DJ and producer.
After his introduction, he began doing nights as a crew known as Urban People across the whole of Italy. This earned him status and he earned a residency at Pacha, Egypt which led to him getting DJ bookings internationally, and launched him on a musical journey around the globe.
Raised in Torino, Italy, Stefano in his early years demonstrated a wealth of abilities with music. He studied with passion classical piano, percussion, and drums, he loved his Chopins and West African Djembe.
As he grew that figure of the disc jockey rearing the crowd proved more and more enchanting for the teenage Stefano. He wondered if those mesmerising electronic beats, omitted on nineties radio stations, were going to open a completely new chapter in his life and then Bicycle Corporation evolved.
Just recently, their earlier tracks have gone out of contract with the original labels so they have set up a Bandcamp page to distribute them. This show is a mesmerising blend of Afrobeat, Brasilia, Funk, Rare Groove, and Re-edits, and enjoy the show.

This week's guest DJ is Giorgio Leone, Giorgio Leone is a DJ and producer born in Catania, Italy in the early nineties. He was always inclined toward producing music, and he started immersing himself in the DJ and producer scene in his home city.
Then at the age of sixteen, he started to craft his own tracks. At eighteen he began to perform gigs around some of Catania’s most well-known clubs. His shows at local clubs gave him the much-needed boost he needed to start gaining a buzz in the industry.
He is currently located in Taipei, Taiwan and it's from here that he put out his first tracks including “Infectious” and “Call Me”, on the Neu Gravity record label. The music he crafts is often self-reflective in nature, touching on his experiences throughout life.
Thunderously thumping rhythms, darkly atmospheric soundscapes and electrifying energy that's impossible to ignore. His sound is bold, ethereal and bound to get even the deadest of dance floors ignited into euphoria-dripped bliss.
He aims to just create the best vibes he can through his music. To break boundaries in the electronic genre and bring all his listeners to energy-induced intoxication.
He’s known for his ability to hook the audience throughout the whole show with his commanding stage presence. He has also formed his music group “Our Muzik'' since moving to Taiwan which brings global recognition to the techno scene in the country and also promotes their record label.
