Bicycle Corporation have announced guest DJ Brendon P for their Foundations 07 show. The programme is broadcast on Scientific Sound Asia, an Asian electronic music radio station, DJ agency and promoter connecting audiences across the region and internationally.
Bicycle Corporation is the Italian duo formed by DJ and producer Marco Mei alongside Stefano Ugliano, also known as 6884. Together, they have built a catalogue of over fifty releases across house and techno, maintaining a consistent presence within the underground scene.
Marco Mei began his musical journey in the early 1990s, developing his craft as a DJ and producer. Through the Urban People collective, he organised events across Italy, gaining recognition and securing a residency at Pacha, which led to international bookings.
Stefano Ugliano, raised in Torino, developed a strong musical foundation from an early age through classical piano, percussion and drums. Influenced by both the compositions of Chopin and West African percussion, he gradually became drawn to electronic music and DJ culture during a period when it was less accessible on Italian radio.
When Marco and Stefano joined forces, Bicycle Corporation emerged as a project shaped by shared experience and musical depth. Their work reflects a balance between technical precision and a broad appreciation of electronic music, continuing to evolve across their productions and radio shows.
For this episode, they are joined by guest DJ Brendon P, whose approach is rooted in disco, soul, funk and house. His selection style complements the Foundations concept, bringing a deeper and groove-focused perspective to the programme.

DJ Brendon P, real name Brendon Perera, is a Singaporean DJ known for his low-profile and lo-fi approach to his craft. He has been active for over four decades, beginning in 1980 on the Singapore mobile DJ circuit before moving into clubs a year later.
A trip to New York in 1984 exposed him to venues such as Funhouse, Paradise Garage, Danceteria and Area. These experiences immersed him in early club culture and the formative sounds that would later evolve into house music.
Over the years, he has developed a broad musical identity shaped by both local and international influences. His core styles now include House, Techno, Disco, Nu Disco, Funk, Soul, Lounge and Electronica.
During the 1980s and 1990s, he played extensively through collectives such as Juliana’s and Bacchus, later holding residencies with Neo Pharaohs, Venom and NOX. He also held a long-standing nine-year residency at Singapore’s Zouk Club, one of the region’s most recognised venues.
Between 2001 and 2009, he was a resident at Kyo, followed by five years at CÉ LA VI at Marina Bay Sands. He continues to perform regularly across the local and international circuit, including appearances in cities such as London, New York, Miami and Hong Kong, as well as a set at Cielo in New York in 2010.
As a producer, he has released original work and remixes on labels including In The Woods, Los Grandes, Reversoulmusic, Audio Parallax, Hotbox Music, Soul Shift, Defected, Rawjak and Issys Groove. His attention to detail and refined musical taste led Nicolas Mattar of Cielo and Output to describe him as a “taste master” and one of the leading DJs in the region.
His sets are known for moving across genres while maintaining a consistent musical direction. For this show, he features a selection including Deep House, Classic House, House and Electronica.
Foundations 07 with Brendon P opens with Can You Feel It, setting a defining tone for Classic House before Let It Loose and Get Down introduce a groove-led direction rooted in early club culture. Carino in the Motor City Drum Ensemble remix and Let Me Love You For Tonight continue with melodic warmth, while selections like I’ll Bass You and Devotion bring a fuller disco-influenced House sound into the mix.
The session deepens through This Beat Is Over and Tired Of Getting Pushed Around, both capturing the crossover between Classic House and early club electronica. Stay Gold and Eterna introduce a more progressive and atmospheric edge, while Ten City’s Whatever Makes You Happy returns to a soulful, vocal-led House style that remains central to the show’s identity.
A strong run of foundational House follows with 1515 Broadway Revisited and Follow Me, both reinforcing the connection between Chicago and New York scenes. Weekend and Baby Wants To Ride bring raw energy and stripped-back groove, highlighting the early underground sound that shaped the genre’s evolution.
The closing stretch moves through Sunshine and The Whistle Song, blending classic elements with updated production, before It’s Alright (I Feel It) rounds things off with a rich, uplifting finish. The episode captures the essence of Classic House, Deep House and early electronica, presenting a cohesive journey through the roots of the genre.
