Episode 689 of After Hours features a deep journey through Progressive House, curated by Belgian DJ and producer PatriZe, with a guest mix by Martin Urdinez. Broadcast via Scientific Sound Asia, a Vietnam-based electronic music station, promoter and agency, the series continues to connect underground artists across Asia and beyond through radio programming and live events in Ho Chi Minh City.
Now based in Thailand, PatriZe has established himself as a respected figure in the global Progressive House community. Influenced by early roots in Trance and Techno, his sound has evolved into an emotive blend of melodic and atmospheric grooves, known for seamless transitions and immersive storytelling.
His international credentials include performances across Europe and Southeast Asia, with a breakthrough moment in 2010 when he shared the stage with Guy J and Pole Folder. That same year, his win at the Night Museum DJ Competition brought him wider recognition.
In 2015, PatriZe co-founded AH Digital with long-time collaborator Hypnotised. Their debut release Inhabitants of Another Realm reached the Beatport Top 20 and included a standout remix by Rui Da Silva. Since then, the label has become a cornerstone of the Progressive House scene, supporting emerging talent and consistently charting worldwide.
Currently, PatriZe holds residencies at Beachspot and Thai Lounge & Terrace in Pattaya, while also featuring regularly on Frisky Radio’s Rising Sun and Proton Radio’s AH Digital Essentials. Through his After Hours series, he continues to champion new voices and showcase the deeper shades of Progressive House for a global audience.

Guest DJ Martin Urdinez.
Martin Urdinez is a DJ and producer originally from the remote landscapes of Patagonia, Argentina. Drawn to music from an early age, he began DJing as a teenager before relocating to Buenos Aires in 2015, a move that placed him at the heart of Argentina’s vibrant electronic music culture.
Since then, he has steadily built his reputation as both a selector and a producer, combining his Patagonian roots with the cosmopolitan energy of the capital. His production career began in 2020, but in just a few years he has released a strong catalogue across respected underground labels. These include Krafted Underground, Droid9 South America, Sound Avenue, Forward Music, BC2, AH Digital, and Future Avenue, among others.
His work has appeared on a wide range of compilations and label series, from Progressive Essentials to Afterhours and Infinite Progressive, earning him support within the global progressive house community. Martin’s sound draws on Progressive House as its main foundation, often weaving in deep, melodic, and atmospheric elements.
At times, his productions extend into Ambient, Experimental, Electronica, and Dub-influenced Techno, reflecting his interest in rich textures and emotional storytelling. Tracks such as Glacier Feelings, Mermaid, and Trigger show his command of hypnotic rhythms and melodic depth, while releases like Acqua explore more downtempo and cinematic moods.
Between 2023 and 2025, his discography grew rapidly. Key highlights include Advantage on Sounds and Frequencies Recordings, with multiple remixes from Berdu, and Lost in Valhalla, remixed by Lucas Patyn and featured on several compilations. His tracks Paper Bells on Droid9 and Blue Whales on Future Avenue further established him as a consistent presence on the progressive house circuit.
More recently, he delivered From Home to Barna with collaborators Ivan Lozano and KDER, supported by remixes from Paul Daze, Agustin Petros, and Lean Agüero, released through AH Digital. In 2025, new works such as Asgaard and Vegsívir confirmed his ongoing creative momentum, appearing on Argentina Avenue and Forward Music.
In addition to his studio output, Martin hosts Heaven on Earth on Frisky Radio, a programme dedicated to deep and progressive journeys. This residency has allowed him to reach a global audience, positioning him alongside established names in the genre while keeping his focus on pushing fresh underground sounds.
Martin Urdinez represents a new generation of Argentine producers bridging local identity with international reach. His ability to blend deep, melodic storytelling with driving club energy has earned him a growing reputation, and with an expanding discography across well-regarded labels, he continues to shape his place in the progressive house movement worldwide.
The first hour of After Hours 691 opens with PatriZe weaving together melodic and hypnotic progressive house. Vagner Silveira’s Transitions remixed by Rabiee Ahmad builds a smooth introduction, leading into Lucas G’s darker Dark Energy. The seamless mixing highlights PatriZe’s skill in balancing light and shadow within progressive house.
Tracks such as Artem Arknet’s Road of Memory and Mateo Tapia’s Celestial Gardens bring emotional depth to the set. Their melodic layers and celestial tones capture the uplifting side of the genre, while UNK’s Rewired and LEM’s Dark Voyage (Redspace Remix) explore the deeper hypnotic edge of progressive house. PatriZe closes his hour with atmospheric selections like Tomic’s Fantastique Détonner, adding energy while maintaining a melodic core.
The second hour with Martin Urdinez introduces organic house through David Soto’s Lefkada, filled with earthy grooves and natural percussion. The transition into progressive house continues with Dylan Deck’s Mixed Feelings (Matias Vega Remix) and Andre Moret’s Mind Gudes, both offering lush textures and hypnotic basslines that carry the momentum forward.
Martin Urdinez rounds off the set with powerful melodic journeys. Michael A’s Chasing Her and Alex O’ Rion’s Lucida showcase peak progressive house energy, while Mateo Tapia’s Dreaming Big and Zeleon’s Kilig keep the mood immersive. His bootleg of Himno de mi corazon adds a unique Argentine twist, blending national heritage with modern progressive house flow. After Hours 691 is a testament to how progressive house and organic house continue to evolve with global influences and emotional storytelling.
