Episode 679 of After Hours is hosted by Belgian DJ and producer PatriZe and features a guest mix by AZLN. Broadcast via Scientific Sound Asia, an esteemed electronic music station, promoter, and DJ agency based in Vietnam, the show continues to reach global audiences through regular programming and events across Ho Chi Minh City and beyond.

Now residing in Thailand, PatriZe has built a strong reputation in the Progressive House community, known for his fluid mixing, melodic depth, and thoughtful track selection. With early influences rooted in Trance and Techno, his shift into Progressive House allowed him to refine a more intricate and emotionally engaging style.

Over the years, he has performed at notable clubs and festivals throughout Europe and Southeast Asia. His career took a defining step in 2010 when he shared the stage with Guy J (Lost & Found, Bedrock) and Pole Folder (Bedrock, Reworck), a milestone followed by winning the Night Museum DJ Competition.

These events helped establish his standing as a respected artist on the international circuit. In 2015, PatriZe co-founded AH Digital alongside long-time collaborator Hypnotised.

Their debut release, Inhabitants of Another Realm, entered the top 20 on Beatport’s Techno and Tech House charts, later bolstered by a remix from Rui Da Silva. Since then, AH Digital has become a key player in the Progressive House scene, consistently appearing in Beatport’s Top 100.

PatriZe maintains a strong presence in Pattaya’s underground circuit, holding residencies at Beachspot and Thai Lounge & Terrace. He also contributes to respected radio platforms including Frisky Radio’s Rising Sun, Proton Radio’s AH Digital Essentials, and his own After Hours series, which remains a showcase for established and emerging artists alike.

With his deep musical vision, long-standing collaboration with Hypnotised, and a growing international fanbase, PatriZe continues to play a vital role in Progressive House, blending innovation with respect for the genre’s roots.

AZLN is a pioneering electronic music producer and a key figure in Pakistan’s underground scene, recognised for his innovative sound design and high-energy performances. Blending deep, hypnotic techno, progressive house, and experimental elements, his music creates immersive and emotive journeys that resonate with dancefloors across the globe.

Known for intricate layering, pulsating basslines, and textured melodies, AZLN has carved out a distinctive space in the global electronic music landscape. His international debut at Flying Dust x Spectre in Sri Lanka marked a turning point, propelling him into the global spotlight.

Since then, he has become a sought-after name on the international circuit, sharing stages with notable artists including Emi Galvan, Dmitry Molosh, and K Loveski. His dynamic sets effortlessly blend original productions with carefully curated tracks, delivering powerful and unforgettable live experiences.

AZLN is also the founder of Octave, a forward-thinking record label dedicated to showcasing emerging talent and promoting Pakistan’s growing electronic music culture. Through Octave, he curates events, releases cutting-edge music, and fosters collaborations between local and international artists. With growing support from global tastemakers and regular features on platforms like Beatport, AZLN continues to push creative boundaries and champion his country’s scene on the world stage.

After Hours 679 opens with PatriZe selecting Kevin Manning’s “In the Zone” (Thomas Ferell Remix), setting the tone with smooth arps and melodic precision. Kris Dur’s “Nuit” and Bondarev & Anton Borin’s “Multiverse” (DJ Ruby Remix) deepen the energy with airy pads and rhythmic flow. Michael A’s “Reason” gets an atmospheric update via Diego Acosta’s remix, while Taylan’s “Color Me Blind” remixed by ShemoW continues the hypnotic drive.

ShemoW’s “Mirai Oto” (Auseeb Remix) and Phillosopher’s “Gambit” push the mix into deeper terrain with emotive layers and soft builds.
