Uncharted Frequencies has published the playlist for its biweekly show on Scientific Sound Asia. The platform operates as an English-language underground electronic music radio station for China, Vietnam, Malaysia, India and the rest of Asia, alongside its work as a DJ agency, promoter and music news outlet.
Uncharted Frequencies is a biweekly programme on Scientific Sound Asia. The show is a joint project between Shayekh Mohammad Arif, also known as Dr Moonstruck, from Dhaka, Bangladesh, and Hersiaz Hazi from Colombo, Sri Lanka.
The programme provides a platform for experimental and underground music from different parts of the world. Its format gives both artists space to present selections that move outside conventional club structures while keeping a strong connection to electronic music culture.
Hersiaz Hazi hosts this edition of the show. His real name is Hasi Shamalka Silva, and he is a Sri Lankan artist from Colombo whose interest in electronic music began during his teenage years.
Like many DJs, he started by experimenting with Virtual DJ and FL Studio in his bedroom. As his interest developed, he moved towards Progressive House and built a profile within Colombo’s House music scene.
Alongside Uncharted Frequencies, Hersiaz Hazi has also featured in a monthly broadcast on the United Kingdom-based Progressive Heaven radio show. His mixes are available through Mixcloud, adding further context to his work as a Sri Lankan Progressive House selector.
Uncharted Frequency 09 features DJ Hersiaz Hazi with a set centred on Progressive House and deeper melodic club structures. Luka Sambe opens with Alive Is The Meaning in the Tripswitch remix, placing the episode inside a melodic progressive sound supported by the Meanwhile release context.
German Angeleri’s Mango follows in the Julian Rodriguez remix, keeping the early section close to the South American Progressive House sound. Hot TuneiK’s Circles Of You in the Sebastian Sellars remix then adds another layered melodic selection before the set moves towards a warmer organic passage.
Doyeq and Jay Medvedeva’s Break Into My Walls appears in the Armen Miran and Hraach remix, introducing Organic House through its confirmed Beatport listing. Guhus then brings The Eternal Sunshine into the mix, returning the programme to Progressive House with a deeper and more atmospheric structure.
Erdi Irmak’s Hannya keeps the sound close to Organic House, matching the Turkish producer’s regular connection to warm melodic arrangements and earthy rhythm. Lerr’s Morning in the RIGOONI remix then moves back into Progressive House through 3rd Avenue’s melodic and progressive label identity.
Julian Nates’ The Last Call on Clubsonica Records strengthens the central Progressive House section with a patient and detailed club arrangement. Moshi’s Love Express follows, keeping the mood deep and progressive through Moshic’s long-running association with darker progressive sounds.
Sapienta’s Isla adds another Progressive House track before Kamilo Sanclemente’s Outside World brings one of the episode’s clearest genre anchors. Sanclemente’s recognised Colombian Progressive House sound gives the middle section a strong melodic and rhythmic centre.
Nahue Sintes’ Alpine in the Amhain remix keeps the programme in Progressive House, adding a more spacious late-set direction. Koray Kaya’s Feel The Sunset then follows through Progressive Dreamers, matching the label context and the track’s melodic club structure.
Nicolas Rada’s Genesis brings another Progressive House selection into the later section, supported by the Argentinian producer’s established profile across Sudbeat, Balance, Sound Avenue and related labels. AudioStorm’s Temporal Sense then deepens the sequence through his atmospheric progressive electronic sound.
Alex O’Rion’s Komodo adds a Dutch Progressive House entry, fitting his move from trance into the progressive field. Simos Tagias’ The Rise appears in the GMJ and Matter remix, giving the closing third a confirmed Progressive House track from Mango Alley.
Alex O’Rion returns with Mirari in the Night Mix, keeping the late section melodic, deep and rhythmically controlled. Eric Lune’s Embers in the GMJ remix then brings Sound Avenue into the final stretch, supported by the label’s progressive and deep house catalogue identity.
Nico Cerban closes the episode with Altered Senses in the Luciano Scheffer remix on Balkan Connection. Uncharted Frequency 09 moves almost entirely through Progressive House, with two Organic House entries adding contrast while DJ Hersiaz Hazi keeps the set focused on deep melodic progression.
