French musician, producer and creative icon Sebastien Tellier will headline the music programme at Fari Islands Festival 2026, taking place from 13th to 15th August across Patina Maldives, Fari Islands and The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands.

Returning for its second edition, the festival brings together music, art, gastronomy, wellness and humanitarian initiatives across three days of programming in the North Malé Atoll. Alongside Sebastien Tellier, the event will feature Academy Award and BAFTA-nominated actress Rosamund Pike and globally recognised designer Sean Wotherspoon, creating a multidisciplinary programme that extends beyond traditional festival formats.

Known for his eclectic approach to electronic music, Sebastien Tellier has spent more than two decades developing a catalogue that blends electronica, art pop, synthesiser-driven composition and experimental influences. His distinctive sound and creative vision have earned international acclaim, while his recent appointment as Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French government further highlights his contribution to contemporary culture. Tellier will close the festival with a special live piano performance on the final evening.

Art and design also play a central role within this year's programme. Sean Wotherspoon, best known for his iconic Nike Air Max 1/97 collaboration and his influence across fashion, streetwear and sustainability culture, will contribute a collaborative installation while also designing the festival's official merchandise. His involvement brings an additional creative dimension to an event built around cultural exchange and artistic expression.

Rosamund Pike returns following her participation in the inaugural edition and will once again support the festival's humanitarian and wellbeing initiatives. Pike will host a charity dinner supporting MAG (Mines Advisory Group), participate in discussions centred on creativity and self-expression, and lead a guided meditation experience in partnership with Lumenate.

Speaking about her involvement, Pike said:

“I am delighted to be returning to Patina to headline the Fari Islands Festival for this innovative brand. I am interested in what relaxation means in terms of mental and physical resets, and how resets relate to creativity and performance. The festival will allow guests to open their minds to new people and experiences, disconnect with the digital world, and enjoy a space of insight, interest, connection, and a freedom to be.”

Guests gather beneath dramatic golden stage lighting during a previous Fari Islands Festival event. Silhouetted figures stand and socialise amid atmospheric haze as powerful beams of light radiate across the venue, creating an immersive nightlife experience.

Food and drink culture form another major part of the programme. Michelin-starred chef Samuel Lee will showcase his contemporary Cantonese cuisine throughout the festival, while Tokyo dining collective WAGYUMAFIA brings its internationally recognised approach to luxury Japanese dining. Guests will also experience cocktail-led events curated by Dry Wave Cocktail Studio, ranked among Asia's leading bars.

Wellness programming returns through Bamford, offering movement sessions, nutritional workshops and signature treatments across both resorts. Marine conservation and environmental awareness also remain integrated throughout the wider programme, reflecting the natural surroundings of the Fari Islands archipelago.

With Sebastien Tellier leading the music programme, Fari Islands Festival 2026 continues to evolve as a cultural gathering where music, creativity, gastronomy and wellbeing converge in one of the world's most distinctive island destinations.
