Cali’s HouseNation Radio returns with a new edition hosted by DJ Nocturne of Digital Audio Kingz on Scientific Sound Asia. The platform operates as an Asian electronic music radio station, DJ agency and promoter, while also publishing music news and connecting audiences across the region and internationally.
Originally from Los Angeles, Nocturne began his DJ career in 2007 under the name DJ Turiz. During this period, he performed across Latin and urban styles, including reggaeton, hip hop, bachata, merengue, salsa and cumbia, building a reputation for versatility and strong crowd awareness across the Southern California club scene.
In 2013, he transitioned into electronic music, marking a new phase in his career. Around this time, he co-founded Digital Audio Kingz with DJ MORE and became involved in FM radio, expanding his reach beyond the club environment.
By 2018, he adopted the Nocturne alias and launched Cali’s HouseNation Radio, a show dedicated to house music that has since developed into a syndicated programme through the CHNR Syndication Network.
Now based in San Diego while maintaining close ties to Los Angeles, Nocturne continues to refine his sound through projects such as On the Deep End, which explores progressive and melodic styles, alongside Deep House Sessions under the DAK Music banner.
His musical direction remains centred on groove, emotion and connection, reflecting the core principles of house music culture while adapting to contemporary sounds. For this edition of Cali’s HouseNation Radio, Nocturne leads the first hour before handing over to guest DJ Jade, bringing together two distinct approaches to house music for listeners on Scientific Sound Asia Radio.

Guest DJ Jade.
TheDjJade, real name Andre Sembach, began his DJ career in 1995 using Technics MK 1210 turntables and a Pioneer mixer, developing a strong connection to Funky Disco House from the outset. His early influences included DJ Sneak, Todd Terry, DJ Tonka, Rhythm Masters and the Deaf N Dumb Crew, all of which helped shape his distinctive style.
Although he never pursued mainstream recognition, his passion for house music remained central to his journey. He performed in underground clubs and festivals and held a residency at a small club called KM in East Germany until 2003.
Between 2003 and 2009, he stepped away from DJing to focus on family life and raising his son. When he returned, he found that the house scene had shifted significantly, with minimal and more commercial sounds dominating.
In response, he launched his first YouTube channel and became active on SoundCloud, focusing on discovering and supporting talented producers. Through consistent uploads and carefully selected content, the channel grew to thousands of subscribers and millions of plays, becoming a recognised destination for house music listeners.
Building on this success, he created a second channel dedicated to old school house, which achieved similar traction. While he explored music production, his main focus has always remained on DJing and curating music. In 2014, he founded his own label, Jukebox Recordz, further establishing his role within the underground house music community.
The first hour with Nocturne is firmly rooted in Jackin House, opening with Kry and Ryan Truman before moving through Toy Saint Pons and Animist. The groove remains consistent with Barney Osborn and Angelo Ferreri, keeping a funk-driven rhythm that defines the early part of the session.
This direction continues through Roller Funk, Vincent Caira and Wildcard, maintaining a punchy, sample-led style. Pinto and Raffaele Ciavolino keep the energy steady, while Just Aaron and Andrew Azara close the first hour with a tight, rolling Jackin House finish.
The second hour shifts into a more Classic House and vinyl-inspired approach with DJ Jade, opening with his own productions before moving into House and Disco selections. Club 90 and Fuzion set the tone, while Soul Collective and Superstar DJs bring a familiar groove rooted in classic club sounds.
As the set progresses, Disco House becomes more prominent with Jack 4 Men, Diego B-M and Rawpunk, alongside contributions from Tiger and Woods and Harrison Crump. The closing run blends House and Disco influences seamlessly, reflecting a more traditional, vinyl-led approach that contrasts the modern Jackin House focus of the first hour.
Listen to the live broadcast of the show on Saturday, March 27th, 2026, between 4 PM and 6 PM Indochina Time (ICT). If you miss the live airing, a replay will be available on Wednesday from 4 AM to 6 AM (ICT).
