Marco Mei is an Italian DJ with over 20 years of international expertise as a producer and disc jockey. Developed as an artist throughout the early stages of Afrocentric and electronic music.
He started out as a DJ in the early 1990s, hosting house music and techno events, and has since shared the turntables with Roger Sanchez, David Morales, Ralph Falcon, Harry "Choo Choo" Romero, Justin Berkmann, Funk D'Void, and Sander Kleinenberg, to name a few.
His global fame grew, and he was offered a DJ residency at the prestigious Pacha Club in Sharm-El-Sheikh. In the years that followed, he began traveling across the world and performing as a DJ at various clubs such as Woo Bar, Fuse (Brussels), Room 18 (Taipei), Bangaluu (Berlin), G-Star (Pattaya), SOS Supper Club (Bali), and NLO (Minsk).
In 2009, Marco collaborated with Stefano Ugliano (aka 6884) on the project "Bicycle Corporation." Their skills as established DJs complemented each other immediately. With a foundation in house and techno music, their distinctive productions drew a lot of attention.
They were almost immediately signed by 17:44 Records, and their music was released on labels including Alchemy, Miniatures, WL77, GrooveTraxx, Suka, and Revox. So far, they have released over 50 tracks and remixes spanning Deep and Tech-House to French House and Techno.
Marco currently resides in Taipei, where he dominates the local club scene with European underground vibes. His signature party, "Ciao Taipei," was the local revelation of 2013 and allowed him to become part of an ever-growing network of quality artists in Southeast Asia. Many international DJs have endorsed their productions, including Sneak, Mauro Picotto, Dubfire, Axwell, Danny Tenaglia, and Above & Beyond.
His weekly broadcast covers a wide range of genres, including Deep House, Tech House, Afro House, Melodic Techno, Nu-Disco, Indie Dance, Electronica, and Techno. He is available for future bookings through our DJ Agency.
