Marco Mei has released his playlist for his next show this Saturday the 11th of January 6 PM to 8 PM Indochina Time (ICT) and re-airing Sunday 2 to 4 PM (ICT). Scientific Sound Asia is the English language electronic music station for China, Thailand, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia and the rest of the region.
Marco is an Italian DJ and producer with over two decades of grounding. He spent his early years growing up with Afrobeat and with the birth of electronic music he began on his career as a DJ in the 1990's and for two and a half decades has carried out his trade as a disc jockey at some breathtaking festivals and Nightclubs' across the globe sharing the turntables with a wealth of International DJs such as Roger Sanchez, David Morales, Ralph Falcon and Sander Kleinenberg.
In the earliest years of the millennia he acquired a residency at Pacha Club in Sharm-El-Sheikh, and set off on travels around the world as a DJ and artist at a broad spectrum of underground nightclubs across the world including Arcan (Saigon), Fuse (Brussels), Room 18 (Taipei), Shore Club (Hoi An), Bangaluu (Berlin), G-Star (Pattaya), SOS Supper Club (Bali) and NLO (Minsk) together with artists such as Harry “Choo Choo” Romero, Justin Berkmann and Funk D’Void.
In his partnership with Stefano Ugliano forming an ensemble by the name Bicycle Corporation, they have released well over 50 tracks and remixes that have been given spins by a good number of International talents. Currently Marco abodes in Taiwan where he regularly performs his art as a DJ with great prowess and this has enabled him to become part of the ever growing group of world renowned DJs and producers on Scientific Sound Asia radio.
His weekly show features a broad selection of genres including Deep House, Tech House, Afro House, Melodic Techno, Nu-Disco, Indie Dance, Electronica, and Techno. He is available for further bookings through our DJ Agency.
