Marco Mei has published his playlist for his upcoming show. Scientific Sound Asia is the electronic music station for China, Thailand, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia and the rest of the Asian region with a global following.
Marco is an Italian DJ and producer with over two and a half decades of grounding. He spent his formative years growing up with Afrobeat and the very roots of electronic music.
He set off on his career as a DJ in the 1990s and over the last 25-plus years has carried out his love of DJing at some of the most upfront festivals and Nightclubs' around the planet. He has spun with a host of world-renowned DJs such as Roger Sanchez, David Morales, Ralph Falcon and Sander Kleinenberg, Harry “Choo Choo” Romero, Justin Berkmann and Funk D’Void.
At the start of the new millennium, he acquired a residency at Pacha Club in Sharm-El-Sheikh. After his introduction to the limelight, he wandered around the world as a DJ and performing artist at many underground nightclubs and venues across the planet including Arcan (Saigon), Fuse (Brussels), Room 18 (Taipei), Shore Club (Hoi An), Bangaluu (Berlin), G-Star (Pattaya), SOS Supper Club (Bali) and NLO (Minsk).
Forming an ensemble with Stefano Ugliano, with the name Bicycle Corporation, they put out well over 50 tracks and remixes that have been spun by a plethora of international talents. At present Marco resides in Taiwan where he continually demonstrates his his art as a DJ with skill.
This has enabled him to become part of the ever-growing group of world-renowned DJs and producers on Scientific Sound Asia radio. His weekly show features a broad selection of genres including Deep House, Tech House, Afro House, Melodic Techno, Nu-Disco, Indie Dance, Electronica, and Techno.
