Marco Mei has announced his track list for the upcoming radio broadcast on Saturday, June 22nd. Scientific Sound Asia Radio is a premier underground electronic music station and DJ agency serving Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Japan, Singapore, and the broader Southeast Asia region.
Marco Mei is an Italian Disc Jockey boasting over twenty-five years of experience as both a producer and DJ. He honed his skills during the emergence of Afrobeat and synthesized music, starting his DJ career in the early nineties by organizing House Music and Techno events under the Urban People brand.
In the latter stages of his career, he has showcased his skills at some of the world's most prominent festivals and club venues. He has also enjoyed the honour of playing alongside renowned DJs such as Roger Sanchez, David Morales, Ralph Falcon, Sander Kleinenberg, Harry "Choo Choo" Romero, Justin Berkmann, and Funk D'Void, among others.
With his growing fame, he secured a Disc Jockey residency at the renowned Pacha Club in Sharm-El-Sheikh. Over the following years, he travelled the world, performing as a DJ at various underground nightclubs, including Arcan in Saigon, Fuse in Brussels, Room 18 in Taipei, Shore Club in Hoi An, Bangaluu in Berlin, G-Star in Pattaya, SOS Supper Club in Bali, and NLO in Minsk.
In 2009, Marco Mei formed a duo with Stefano Ugliano, also known as 6884, and together they established "Bicycle Corporation." Their development as DJs quickly propelled them to prominence.
With their previous ventures with house and techno music, their distinctive tracks gained attention from the start. They were then signed to the 17:44 record label, and their tracks have been released on labels like Alchemy, Miniatures, WL77, GrooveTraxx, Suka, and Revox.
They have produced over fifty tracks and remixes, spanning various subgenres including Deep and Tech-House, French House, and Techno. Their music has earned recognition with plays from an array of internationally acclaimed DJs such as Sneak, Mauro Picotto, Dubfire, Axwell, Danny Tenaglia, and Above & Beyond.
Marco, who is based in Taiwan, showcases his passion for art with great skill. His early triumph with "Ciao Taipei" became the local sensation of 2013, enabling him to join the continuously expanding circle of prominent artists on Scientific Sound Asia radio.
His weekly show offers a diverse range of genres such as Deep House, Tech House, Afro House, Melodic Techno, Nu-Disco, Indie Dance, Electronica, and Techno. He is open for additional bookings via our DJ Agency.
