Marco Mei, the veteran Italian DJ and producer behind Bicycle Corporation, returns with another instalment of his celebrated radio show on Scientific Sound Asia. The station, known for promoting underground electronic and urban music across Asia and beyond, continues to unite DJs, producers, and audiences through its global broadcasts, events, and artist network.

With more than thirty years on the international circuit, Marco has earned recognition for his ability to blend Afro-inspired grooves, deep house rhythms, and high-energy club sounds into seamless, captivating sets. His deep musical knowledge and intuitive connection with the dancefloor have built him a loyal worldwide following.

Marco’s journey began in the early 1990s in Turin, Italy, where he became immersed in the underground club movement. His passion for house, techno, and Afrobeat led him to co-found Urban People, a pioneering collective that helped shape Italy’s evolving electronic scene.

His career took off with a residency at Pacha Sharm el-Sheikh, which brought him international acclaim. This led to appearances at venues internationally including Woo Bar in Bali, The Mansion in Shanghai, Fuse in Brussels, and The Observatory in Ho Chi Minh City.

In 2009, Marco teamed up with fellow Italian producer Stefano Ugliano, also known as 6884, to form Bicycle Corporation. The duo have released over fifty tracks and remixes spanning Deep House, Tech House, French House, and Techno, with their music featured on labels such as Alchemy, Miniatures, WL77, Suka, and GrooveTraxx.

Since relocating to Taipei in 2010, Marco has become a central figure in Taiwan’s underground music community. His sets combine a global sensibility with the timeless essence of house and techno, creating a sound that’s both rooted in tradition and open to new influences.

Through his ongoing radio series on Scientific Sound Asia, Marco continues to showcase the passion, skill, and versatility that define his career. Each episode delivers the depth, warmth, and energy that make his performances so distinctive. With decades of experience, an ever-evolving vision, and an enduring commitment to underground culture, Marco Mei remains as an influential and respected figure in the international house and techno scene.

DJ Marco Mei 2025 Episode 35 opens with glittering disco tones as All Over The World sets a vintage mood, quickly giving way to the deep, soulful tones of Think About Us in Damiano von Erckert’s stylish rework. Villach and Tangerine Beam expand the groove with melodic warmth before Face II Face and All My Love lift the energy through their seamless blend of rhythm and soul.

Midway, Marco deepens the atmosphere through Not That Herb, Found You, and Space Rider, each track balancing hypnotic house patterns with rich, layered sound. Don’t Turn Your Back On Me adds a soulful anchor before Let’s Stay With It and Somebody shimmer with nu disco and funk inspiration.
