Bicycle Corporation has released its playlist for their next 'Roots ' show this Sunday from 6 PM to 8 PM Indochina Time (ICT) and repeating on Tuesday at the same time. Scientific Sound Asia is the electronic music station for Malaysia, China, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, South Korea and the rest of Asia.
Bicycle Corporation is an electronic duo of the Italian DJ and Producer Marco MEI plus the skilled Stefano Ugliano aka 6884. They have many releases ranging from Tech House, Deep House, Melodic Techno, Melodic House, to Techno.
Going back to the early nineties Marco was setting off on his musical journey as a DJ and producer. After a short time, he started doing his own nights as an ensemble known as 'Urban People' throughout the whole of Italy.
This gained him recognition and he subsequently gained a residency at Pacha, Daar es Salaam, Egypt. His residency at Pacha gained him recognition and DJ bookings internationally and set him off on a musical journey around the globe.
Raised in Torino, Italy, Stefano in his early years displayed incredible abilities with music. He learnt enthusiastically percussion, classical piano, and drums, and loved his Chopins and West African Djembes.
However, 'the person spinning records' proved more and more intriguing for the teenage Stefano. He never knew that those very electronic beats, so hard to get on ‘90s Italian radio stations, were going to launch a very new chapter in his life.
The track list for their next show is laid out below and represents the 'Roots' of their sound and the genres they have drawn influence from in their electronic releases. These genres include Funk, Disco, Soul, Afrobeat, Electro, Rare Groove, Hip Hop, and Afrocentric. Bicycle Corporation is available for booking via our DJ agency for Asia.
