Bicycle Corporation has unveiled its playlist for the upcoming 'Roots' show scheduled for Sunday, October 13th, from 6 PM to 8 PM Indochina Time (ICT) with a repeat broadcast on Tuesday at the same time. Scientific Sound Asia serves as an electronic music station, promoter, and DJ agency operating in Malaysia, China, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, South Korea, and across Asia.
Bicycle Corporation consists of the Italian DJ and Producer Marco Mei and the talented Stefano Ugliano, also known as 6884. Together, they have put out music on respected labels, covering a wide range within the House Music and Techno genres.
Embarking on his musical journey in the early nineties, Marco was a true trailblazer as a DJ. With his ensemble 'Urban People,' he rocked Italy with his own nights, gaining massive recognition.
After securing a residency at Pacha in Egypt, he quickly rose to international stardom. This opened up opportunities for DJ gigs around the globe, paving the way for his iconic musical journey that eventually led him to move to Taipei, Taiwan, where he carries on his legacy.
Stefano, who grew up in Torino, Italy, showed remarkable musical talents from a young age. He devoted himself to studying classical piano, percussion, and drums with great passion, particularly enjoying the works of Chopin and West African Djembes.
As Stefano matured, the sight of a disc jockey mixing records on turntables became increasingly fascinating to the teenage boy. Little did he know that the electronic beats rarely heard on Italian radio stations in the '90s, would lead to a completely new chapter in his life.
