Bicycle Corporation has revealed the playlist for their upcoming episode 104 of Foundations. Scientific Sound Asia is a respected online radio station, promoter and DJ agency, serving Asian markets whilst maintaining global reach.
Bicycle Corporation comprises the Italian DJ and producer partnership of Marco Mei and Stefano Ugliano, also known as 6884. During their music industry tenure, they have built a substantial catalogue with over 50 tracks across genres including French House, Deep House, Tech House and Techno.
Marco began his music career in the early 1990s, engaging with the thriving House Music and Techno scene as part of the Urban People collective. His commitment and skill quickly gained music industry attention, establishing him as a recognised DJ throughout Italy. However, Marco's aspirations reached beyond national boundaries, leading to international bookings that took him to perform on stages worldwide.
From Torino, Italy, Stefano showed musical ability from an early age. With strong artistic interests, he devoted considerable free time to developing his musical skills. His love for music led him to undertake formal training in classical piano, percussion and drums, building an appreciation for various musical styles, including Chopin's compositions and West African Djembe rhythms.
Although Stefano held broad musical interests, he was particularly drawn to one aspect of music: DJing. Fascinated by the craft of blending records, young Stefano was captivated by the beats seldom heard on Italian radio stations during that period. This attraction to DJing sparked his passion for electronic music and guided him towards an industry career.
For many, the concept of creating and performing electronic music before large crowds might appear an impossible ambition. However, Stefano remained committed to his purpose, motivated by a clear vision he was determined to realise.
After a meeting with Marco and discovering their mutual passion for music, they began a journey characterised by hard work, dedication and persistent determination. Through collaboration, they turned their shared ambition into achievement, establishing Bicycle Corporation.
Despite Marco and Stefano's current success, they stay connected to their modest origins. Looking back on their path, they returned to some of their earlier compositions, treasuring the memories of their musical growth. To acknowledge their beginnings, they created a Bandcamp page to share these tracks, enabling fans to engage with their musical heritage.
The episode begins with Feel Free by Fur Coat, setting a lush and atmospheric tone in the realm of Melodic House & Techno. The shimmering Cosmic Urges by Tigerblind follows, shifting into Progressive House territory with hypnotic overtones. Ivory’s I Know What You Want and Together by Marc Gonen introduce bright Indie Dance and tight Tech House grooves, paving the way for Get Up and Dance by Gorje Hewek & Rony Seikaly, an inviting track with Balearic charm.
Mid-show, Nicolas Masseyeff & Parallelle’s Renegade remix elevates the vibe with rich Melodic House textures, while Franco BA & Matt’s Rolling Deep reinforces the Indie Dance thread. Carl Craig’s Slam Remake of Relevee adds a sense of techno classicism with modern weight, before Tigerblind shakes things up again with Flight or Fight, a driving Bass House selection. The energy spikes with Let’s Go Dancing by Tiga & Audion (Layton Giordani Remix) and Life on Life’s Terms by Pig & Dan, both pushing hard into Peak Time Techno.
Welker’s Element returns briefly to Indie Dance before Feeling Alright by Hard to Tell offers a light House interlude. For Your Head by Rebrn reclaims the Tech House sound, leading to the pounding Verb by Confidential Recipe. Adana Twins & Xinobi’s Higher then blends Indie aesthetics with club-ready momentum, and Vitamin E by Tigerblind reintroduces punchy rhythms. Pig & Dan’s Human Nature slows things down with a darker, hypnotic Techno cut.
The closing stretch begins with One Day by Santos and Ian Pooley’s legendary Chord Memory, two contrasting takes on classic House and Techno lineage. I-Cube’s Transpiration brings a deeper House groove before Along Came Polly receives a trippy remix by Konstantin Sibold, Carmee & Zac. The show ends on a high with Harvey McKay’s Slip, DJ Physical’s Get Busy, and the euphoric Hale Bopp by Der Dritte Raum (Maceo Plex Edit), a timeless finish for this high-energy mix.
