Andrew Welman is a DJ, producer and electronic music enthusiast, originating from Montreal, Canada. When not performing, he spends his time in the studio creating his own music.
Last year, after spending many years concentrating on his other career, he decided that it was time to rekindle his true love. This is his passion for being a disc jockey and producer and his mission to share his musical vision with the masses.
His influences include acclaimed artists such as Eats Everything, Carl Cox, Honey Dijon and many more. He is now holding multiple residencies on radio stations around the world, performing as a disc jockey and promoting his own shows.
For him, it’s all about mood and a deep, hypnotic groove. He loves playing those tracks that get you tapping your feet and nodding your head without you realising it.
He plays regularly in underground events across Canada and has a reputation for making people move in his sets. His main styles are Deep House, Soulful House, Funky House, and Tech House.
Episode 3 of Groove Theory by Andrew Welman is a compelling journey through House, Deep House, and Techno, curated with a mix of soulful beats and driving rhythms.
