Mati Melgarejo is a DJ and producer from Necochea in Buenos Aires Province, Argentina, whose sound is rooted in Progressive House and melodic electronic music. At just 24 years old, he has already begun developing a recognisable style centred on atmosphere, groove and emotional progression, combining deep melodic textures with refined rhythmic structure across both his productions and DJ sets.

His work reflects a strong connection to South America’s progressive house movement, where detailed arrangement, subtle melodic development and immersive flow remain central to the genre’s identity. Drawing from these influences, Mati Melgarejo focuses on creating music that balances dancefloor functionality with introspective and cinematic elements.

Recent releases continue reinforcing this direction. Tracks such as Consecuencias, Sky Blue and Melomania explore deeper Progressive House territory through warm harmonics, rolling basslines and restrained melodic tension, while collaborations with Pedro Clapp on releases including La Salamanca, La Canoa and El Anzuelo further expand his sound through organic grooves and atmospheric layering.

Alongside his progressive productions, he also moves comfortably into Minimal / Deep Tech and Deep House territory. Releases such as Sauvage Mind and Calm the Days on Deep Elite showcase a more stripped-back and groove-focused approach, while his remix of Miércoles 27 introduces hypnotic minimal textures and tighter rhythmic frameworks.

PatriZe opens the first hour with GMJ’s Sapience and Agustin Portaro’s Echoes Of Arrival, immediately establishing a deep Progressive House atmosphere. Sistersweet’s That’s The Way in the Casnik remix adds melodic movement before Portaro’s Coordinates continues the flowing underground direction.
