DJ Joshua has released the track lists for his weekly 'Floating Beats' and 'Velvety Elements' shows. Scientific Sound Asia is the Asian electronic music station and DJ Agency for the Asian region with an international following.

DJ Joshua moniker Joshua Mar is a Portuguese native hailing from Evora. His main pass time is collecting electronic music and he owns an extensive library in all formats.

One of his most elaborate zeals as a disc jockey was the time he spent as a youngster obsessively gathering genres such as House, Drum and Bass, Chill-out, and Techno to name a few. Starting off in his bedroom as a DJ as a teenager in the early nineties he became a crate digger and regularly visited records shops in his free time.

As he grew older and started to attend events in his home country he recognised that electronic music was missing on airwaves across Portugal. After a while he managed to gain some residencies on radio stations and began pouring out his admiration of the electronic genres in detail, gaining notoriety.

This in turn led to events in his home city and beyond with his companions sharing the burden on the decks and with promotion. After the birth of his daughter, he decided to reign into fatherhood.

After a few years of nappy changing, he decided to take the bull by the horns and started a new radio show entitled 'Floating Beats'. His show started to broadcast across radio stations all over the globe and he gained a massive following with his online presence.

After a few more years and a lot of thought, he decided to start another show to present a missing deep and soulful expression of his love for House Music and his second show 'Velvety Elements' was born. His 'Floating Beats' and 'Velvety Elements' podcast is transmitted on a fair selection of online platforms and stations internationally.

In closing, Joshua has this to say 'Music is an art form. Is the fusion of elements that can convey emotions and make the body move. This is a place where you hear sounds that can float and end up falling onto your body, enjoy it.'

In his weekly shows, Joshua presents a current selection of House Music and Techno genres predominantly featuring Deep House, Tech House, Melodic House, Detroit House, Soulful House, Progressive House, Vocal House, Melodic Techno, and Techno.
