DJ Joshua has recently released the lineups for his two radio shows, Floating Beats and Velvety Elements. These shows are broadcast by Scientific Sound Asia, a well-known electronic music station and DJ agency in Asia. Scientific Sound Asia has a large and devoted international following, and it is well-known for its significant impact on the Asian electronic music scene.
DJ Joshua is a committed electronic music lover from Evora, Portugal. His passion for this genre is obvious in his large collection, which includes digital formats, vinyl albums, CDs, and tapes. Throughout his early years, DJ Joshua spent numerous hours perfecting his DJ skills and meticulously choosing tunes from various genres such as Techno, House, Drum and Bass, and Chillout.
In the 1990s, Portugal faced significant opposition to rave music, which led to its ban from radio broadcasts. However, DJ Joshua maintained his everlasting passion for electronic music.
DJ Joshua inherited the task of organizing House Music and Techno events at numerous clubs and bars. Collaborating closely with his peers, he efficiently translated his creative vision into reality. His influence expanded beyond the local music scene, drawing listeners in a variety of countries.
DJ Joshua made the personal decision to temporarily stop event organizing and radio engagements following the birth of his first child. His primary concentration turned to fully embracing his new job as a parent.
As his daughter grew older, DJ Joshua discovered a renewed passion for music within himself. Inspired by this inward need, he embarked on a new artistic project: the Floating Beats podcast and radio show.
Since its start, the program has garnered a devoted following, with listeners tuning in to enjoy Joshua's carefully chosen selection of tunes. Floating Beats, which is available on a variety of well-known internet platforms, has established itself as a hub for electronic music aficionados.
DJ Joshua grew up with a strong love of House music, which inspired him to create a one-of-a-kind project named "Velvety Elements" in tribute to its intensely emotional essence. DJ Joshua's podcasts have received high praise for methodically delving into the subtleties of the genre, earning him the opportunity to be featured on various international House Music and Techno radio stations, including our own.
