Episode 701 of After Hours delivers a richly layered journey through Progressive House, led by Belgian DJ and producer PatriZe with a guest mix from Argentine DJ and producer Fede Pals. Broadcast on Scientific Sound Asia, the Vietnam-based station, promoter, and DJ agency, the show continues to champion underground electronic music across Asia and beyond.

Now based in Thailand, PatriZe has become one of the most respected names in the international Progressive House scene. His sound, rooted in Trance and Techno influences, is known for its emotive storytelling and seamless melodic flow.

Performances alongside artists such as Guy J and Pole Folder helped shape his reputation as a technically skilled and expressive DJ, capable of connecting with crowds on a deeper emotional level. His 2010 victory at the Night Museum DJ Competition marked a key breakthrough, opening doors to international recognition and leading to the founding of AH Digital in 2015 with Hypnotised.

Their debut release Inhabitants of Another Realm reached the Beatport Top 20, establishing the label as a trusted name for quality underground releases. Recent highlights include his 2025 remix of The Loon (Matías Delóngaro Remix) on AH Digital, a polished and atmospheric production that captures PatriZe’s refined melodic style and evolving sound.

As the driving force behind After Hours, PatriZe continues to blend established artistry with a platform for rising talent. Holding residencies at Beachspot and Thai Lounge & Terrace in Pattaya, and with regular features on Frisky Radio’s Rising Sun and Proton Radio’s AH Digital Essentials, he remains committed to deep, progressive storytelling in every set. Episode 701 adds to this legacy, bridging continents through shared passion for melodic and emotional electronic music.

Argentinian DJ and producer Fede Pals sits on a set of steps outside a building, wearing black sneakers, jeans, a T-shirt, and sunglasses. He looks straight at the camera, resting his hands on his knees in this colorful image.

Guest DJ Fede Pals.

This weeks guest Fede Pals is a DJ and producer currently based in Europe. Over the years, he has honed his DJ craft both in his native Argentina and internationally, performing across Italy, Spain, Australia, and New Zealand.

His sets fluidly move between downtempo, electronica, deep house, organic house, and progressive house, creating seamless journeys that combine emotion, groove, and atmosphere.

In 2013, Fede began producing his own music, developing a sound that blends organic percussion, warm melodies, and hypnotic synths.

His productions are rich with texture and rhythm, influenced by natural landscapes and world sounds. This distinctive approach has earned him releases on respected labels such as 3rd Avenue, The Purr, Nordic Voyage Records, Massive Harmony, and Be Adult Music.

Fede’s recent work showcases the evolution of his sound. In 2025, he released Irie on What Happens, a deep and melodic cut layered with tribal percussion and immersive ambience, followed by Natira (Fede Pals Club Mix) on AH Digital, which reflects his refined sense of progressive energy. His remix of Aleh Ha Ho on The Purr (2024) highlights his ability to reimagine tracks with warmth and groove, while Labuntur on Balance Music (2023) blends atmospheric tones with a driving rhythm that embodies his organic house aesthetic.

His music has been supported by leading names including Hernán Cattáneo, Nick Warren, Nicolas Rada, Marcelo Vasami, Fernando Ferreyra, Liam Sieker, Luciano Scheffer, Callecat, and Dario Berrondo, and has consistently charted on Release Promo Hype Chart and Beatport’s Progressive and Organic House Top 100.

Fede Pals continues to shape his sound with a focus on storytelling and depth, merging the organic and electronic into emotive, timeless music. With his international reach and ongoing creativity, he remains one of the most promising and distinctive voices in the global progressive and organic house movement.

PatriZe opens After Hours 701 with elegance and depth. Northern Light sets a patient tone through misty harmonics, leading into the intricate flow of Timelines and the momentum of Outbreak. 11 Moons and Voyager 2030 expand the soundscape, evoking celestial travel before Lili softens the sequence with emotional restraint. Each progression deepens the sense of control and continuity.

In the middle stretch, Reflections and When the Silence Is Too Loud hold the energy steady, balancing airy textures with rhythmic drive. Warp sustains the hypnotic pulse while The Middle closes PatriZe’s set in immersive fashion, all evolving under his precise transitions that maintain focus and tone.

Fede Pals takes over with melodic introspection. The reimagined Need To Feel Loved eases listeners into reflective depth, followed by the serene Flow and Guy J’s signature No Drama. The set ripples with detail through Rumble and The Future is in the Past, weaving cinematic melodies and finely tuned groove.

The closing section heightens the melodic weight. Backsight and Bray Dunes provide levity before Can’t Stop The Flow Of Love lifts the rhythm into a stronger pulse. Pure Rage threads energy and emotion, Beyond Your Mind expands the texture, and Shattered Phase concludes the episode in luminous calm. After Hours 701 is a testament to refined progressive craftsmanship, where PatriZe and Fede Pals move seamlessly between contemplation and drive.
