Scientific Sound Asia Presents JFB: 3x World DMC Champion in Ho Chi Minh City

Scientific Sound Asia presented JFB, the three-time World DMC Champion, performing in Ho Chi Minh City on Friday, 24 October 2025. The event brought world-class turntablism, bass-driven beats and high-energy DJ performance to Happy Life 185 in District 1.

Fresh from the DMC World Finals in Tokyo, JFB arrived in Vietnam to showcase his renowned turntable skills, creativity and performance style. The timing connected the event with the first DMC World Final to be held in Tokyo, the birthplace of Technics turntables.

JFB’s three DMC World titles came during the 2021 championship season. He won the 2021 DMC World DJ Championship, became the first DMC World Beat Juggling Champion, and also won the DMC World DJ Team Championship with DJ Angelo as The BREXecutioners.

JFB is a UK turntablist, DJ and producer whose sets move across Hip Hop, Funk, Breaks, Drum and Bass, Dubstep and wider bass music. His style combines battle-level scratch technique with party-focused selection, making him one of the UK’s most recognised modern turntablists.

For those who could not attend the DMC World Finals in Tokyo, the event offered a rare opportunity to experience championship-level DJ culture in Vietnam. The night combined technical routines, bass music and turntablism in a club setting.

Support came from DJ Psycho-UK, keeping the party running until 4 AM. The event connected Scientific Sound Asia’s Hip Hop, Drum and Bass and turntablism roots with one of the most decorated names in contemporary scratch DJ culture.
