pulsɘs presents the 20 May 2020 edition of his Techno show on Scientific Sound Asia, featuring guest DJ Damaged Psyche. Scientific Sound Asia is an Asian and international electronic music radio station, promoter and music-news platform.
pulsɘs, real name Amedeo Marini, is an emerging artist born and raised in Rome, Italy, who was based in Groningen, Holland's underground scene at the time of publication. The Italian DJ and producer has a dark, high-energy, uncompromising techno style that often led to closing-set bookings.
At the time of publication, he was seeking his first international bookings after the pandemic, having played for a few underground organizers and planned larger events in his home town. His selections combine rave, hard techno, EBM, dark techno, elektro and industrial techno.
At the time, his radio show focused on dark music and discussions of how coronavirus was affecting Europe's clubbing scene. His musical background also includes playing guitar in post-metal and sludge projects.

This week's guest DJ was Damaged Psyche, a Djing project established in 2018 and led by Lina Salazar. The project works across Techno, Industrial Techno, Acid Techno, Dark Disco and EBM.
She also runs the Zellstaat podcast series, which follows these themes. The guest contribution therefore sits naturally alongside the programme's darker electronic focus.
The tracklist opens with Wumpscut's Lindberg, before Codeless Avec Alter D's Illusione on Marguerite Records establishes an EBM edge. Unhuman's Unterstützung on Unhuman introduces Electronica, while Phase Fatale's Empty Whip on Ostgut Ton brings in Breaks.
Liebknecht's Next on Basic Unit Productions adds ebmstep before De Bons en Pierre's Frog Stoemp on Dark Entries Records returns to EBM. Lapse of Reason's Go Away on Khemia Records and HKKPTR's Kaelte on X-IMG sharpen the pace through Peak Time Techno.
Adam X's Antagonistic on Sonic Groove and Crystal Geometry's Deathcare USA on HANDS draw on Techno (Raw / Deep / Hypnotic). Blush Response's Unclean Spirit on DistroKid then returns to Peak Time Techno, followed by Mædon's Illusion on Sonic Groove.
Codex Empire's Fumifugion and Illnurse's All Day Feat. DJ Varsovie lead into Dax J's Protect The Prophecy on Monnom Black. Ionic Vision's Die Macht Milimetric Remix and Gewalt's Can We Leave Now? End Of Mortal Life Remix precede KlangKuenstler's Peak Time Techno cut Hexenmeister on OUTWORLD.
Teik Arô's Acid Resurrection on Teiko introduces Acid Techno, before Aneed's Circeo on Istigkeit Records brings the programme back towards Techno. Agency's Snorthing Crushed Teeth, Yå's Sorry I Was Under and Distorted Anima's Shinjuku Drift (Pulsɘs Nissan Pulsar Dark Industrial Mix) extend the darker direction.
pulsɘs & Aron Sc's Uurlakh, Oguz's Purification and Wndrlst's Two Steps From Hell set up Luca Eck's Under The Skin and [krtm]'s Sapien. Aneed's second appearance with Circeo clears the way for Leo Laker's The Great Beast Theme on Hardwork Records, a Hard Techno selection.
Violent's Whispers Of Sorrow on Vast Perception follows, with pulsɘs' own Odivm carrying the final stretch onward. Mickey Nox closes with the Peak Time Techno track Six Feet Chain on Green Fetish Records.
