Marco Mei has made public his playlist for his show on Saturday the 30th of May 2020. Scientific Sound Asia is an English-language Asian electronic music station, DJ agency and event management company for India, China, Thailand, Taiwan, Korea, Sri Lanka and the rest of the region.
Marco, an Italian DJ and producer, has accumulated over thirty years of experience in the music industry. His passion for Afrocentric music and electronica blossomed during his teenage years, leading him to kick off his career as a DJ in the early 1990s.
During his early years as a DJ, he showcased his skills at various festivals and clubs internationally, sharing the stage with renowned artists such as Roger Sanchez, David Morales, Ralph Falcon, and Sander Kleinenberg.
At the turn of the millennium, he secured a residency at Pacha Club in Sharm-El-Sheikh, which paved the way for him to tour the world and perform at prestigious venues across the globe, including OBS (Saigon), Fuse (Brussels), CE' LA VI (Taipei), Shore Club (Hoi An), Bangaluu (Berlin), G-Star (Pattaya), Woobar (Bali), and Global Dance Moscow.
In 2009, Marco joined forces with Stefano Ugliano (aka 6884) to form the production duo Bicycle Corporation. Together, they have released over 50 tracks and remixes that have been well-received in the electronic music community.
Marco currently resides in Taipei, Taiwan, where he continues to perform at various events across the city. He is part of a talented pool of DJs and producers featured on our online radio station.
His weekly show offers a diverse selection of genres, including Deep House, Tech House, Afro House, Melodic Techno, Nu-Disco, Indie Dance, Electronica, and Techno. For bookings, he can be reached through our Asian DJ Agency for international and Asian events.
