Marco Mei has made public his playlist for his show this Saturday the 30th of May 2020 6 PM to 8 PM Indochina Time (ICT) and re-airing Wednesday 6 to 8 AM (ICT). Scientific Sound Asia radio is the English language Asian electronic music station for India, China, Thailand, Taiwan, Korea, Sri Lanka and the rest of the region.
Marco is an Italian Disc Jockey and producer with over thirty years of experience. As a teenager Marco became enchanted with Afrocentric music and the conception of electronica and in the early 1990s' started off on his career as a DJ.
In his junior years as a disc jockey he spun the turnatables throughout Italy, his ongoing tenacity led to Marco demonstrating his skills at a plethora of festivals and clubs internationally sharing the wheels of steel with internationally acclaimed artists such as Roger Sanchez, David Morales, Ralph Falcon and Sander Kleinenberg.
At the turn of the millennium he gained a residency in Sharm-El-Sheikh at Pacha Club and as a result of his skills set of touring the world at some amazing venues across the cosmos including OBS (Saigon), Fuse (Brussels), CE' LA VI (Taipei), Shore Club (Hoi An), Bangaluu (Berlin), G-Star (Pattaya), Woobar (Bali), Global Dance Moscow and a plethora of others gracing the turntables with legends.
In 2009 Marco formed a production duo with Stefano Ugliano (aka 6884) and Bicycle Corporation was born, their combined skills in the studio led to releases and so far over 50 tracks and remixes have been released and have been well received in the electronic community.
Marco currently dwells in Taipei, Taiwan where he migrated at the beginning of the last decade and performs at events across the Capital. Marco is part great pool of DJs' and producers on our online radio station.
His weekly show features a nice selection of genres each week consisting predominantly of Deep House, Tech House, Afro House, Melodic Techno, Nu-Disco, Indie Dance, Electronica, and Techno. He is available for further bookings through our Asian DJ Agency internationally and in Asia.
