DJ Magazine top 100, DJ Graham Gold, has published the playlist for 'Esta La Musica' episode 483. Scientific Sound Asia is the Asian electronic music station for the region and internationally.

Graham Gold is a British DJ whose musical genius is celebrated across the globe. After over forty years of wowing clubgoers, captivating audiences, and locking down residencies throughout the world, the disc jockey and producer has firmly established himself as one of the true greats of our time.

Though he has had many successful endeavours throughout his career, Graham's global fame is owing heavily to both his London club night, 'Peach', and his weekly show on London's iconic Kiss 100 FM. Graham's weekly podcast was born out of his departure from Kiss 100 FM and the tattoo he had whilst on tour in the United States during the late nineties.

Titled after the tattoo on his arm, 'Esta La Musica' quickly gained momentum with electronic fans tuning in worldwide and soon became a household name amongst music lovers everywhere. The show takes listeners on a journey through all sub-genres including tech house, progressive house, and techno, laying down sounds that entice and electrify, leaving hearers craving more every time.

His early years as a DJ saw a decade-long residency at Gullivers Club in London’s Mayfair where he performed six nights a week. His skills on the turntables and love of Afrocentric music soon led to a partnership with a close friend Duncan Uren and together they launched, 'The Funky Road Show,' a mobile disco in the West End of London.

At just 18, Graham was playing black music across many different nightspots in the U.K. capital. Then in the early eighties, he gained several residencies on pirate radio stations with a variety of genres including; Reggae, Soul, Disco, and Jazz Funk.

After a string of rave reviews and sell-out shows, he earned a slot with the Radio London Soul Night Out Crew and began a weekly Saturday night show on London's Capital FM, later winning Broadcaster of the Year in 1985. Though he was well established in the U.K. Capital, his years at London's Kiss 100 FM earned him international acclaim.

He became known as the catalyst for the success of the station and lifted into the limelight with his entry into the DJ Magazine Top 100 where he held his place for 8 years. Graham's talents have taken him across all four corners of the map with performances in 150 cities in over 40 countries.

He has worked with all the major brands and reared the crowd at some of the world's biggest festivals, including Glastonbury, Gatecrasher, God's Kitchen, and The Street Parade in Zurich, Switzerland. During his time behind the decks, Graham has built a huge international following and continues to draw new fans as he wields his craft at events throughout the world.

He has made releases on a plethora of world-renowned labels and has sold over 700,000 albums of different mixes with 6 BPI Certified Gold & 4 Silver albums to his name. After finishing a European tour, Graham has recently returned to Thailand and taken up residences in Bangkok, Pattaya, and the tropical gem of Koh Phangan, where he has been centre-stage at the island's infamous Full Moon Party.

The turntable star has continued to turn heads in the region and will no doubt soon be setting a whole new tone for the electronic scene across South-East Asia. Graham's weekly show features the best of House and Techno with promos from record labels and producers featuring many sub-genres, including Deep House, Progressive House, Techno, and Deep Tech.

The episode begins with Nicolas Giordano’s The Point, introducing the set in progressive house style. Aiwaska & Thomas Gandey’s Never Gonna Find remixed by Miyagi adds a melodic house and organic house flow, before Rona’s Vibration in an Amir Telem remix expands into afro house blended with progressive house textures. Aiwaska & Thomas Gandey return with Innervision remixed by Monblaire, mixing melodic house & techno with progressive house energy for a powerful transition.

House rhythms come into play with Arielle Free, Gotsome & Icarus on Levitate, offering vocal house warmth, and Jay Phonic’s Space Village pulls the set back into progressive house territory. The tech house drive starts with Darius Syrossian’s Scarface in a Wheats remix, followed by Agents Of Time delivering melodic techno intensity on Apocalypse. Aerofeel5 & Vakabular’s Golden Spike continues with a blend of melodic techno and progressive house.

James Cole’s Avec Moi in a Kevin McKay remix bridges house and nu disco for a stylish shift. Cedric Gervais & Raffi Saint’s Missing in the Gervais Extended Version keeps the vocal house direction strong, before Mark Knight, Rene Amesz & Green Velvet’s Live Stream in a Noizu remix powers back into tech house. Dimmish’s Dissolve strips the sound into minimal deep tech, balancing the energy.

The mix closes with Francesco Parente’s Let The Beat Drop, bringing ghetto house into a tech house framework, and Disfreq’s Batida, a hybrid of techno and tech house that finishes the episode with peak energy. Esta La Musica 486 demonstrates Graham Gold’s ability to combine progressive house DJs, tech house grooves, melodic techno songs, and vocal house tracks into one journey. For fans of afro house, organic house, and minimal deep tech, this episode highlights the range of sounds defining today’s underground.
