DJ Graham Gold unveils Esta La Musica episode 589, broadcast on Scientific Sound Asia, the international electronic music platform, DJ agency and promoter connecting listeners across Asia and worldwide with underground electronic sounds.
A celebrated British DJ with more than four decades behind the decks, Graham Gold remains one of the most recognisable figures in electronic music. Known for his technical precision, infectious energy and deep musical knowledge, he continues to engage audiences through a sound that blends house, progressive house, melodic techno and deep tech.
Ranked in DJ Magazine’s Top 100 DJs for eight consecutive years, Graham’s influence on global club culture is significant. His breakthrough came through London’s renowned Peach club nights and his long-running residency on Kiss 100 FM, where his radio shows reached international audiences and helped shape an important era of electronic music broadcasting.
Before achieving global recognition, Graham built his reputation across London’s underground during the 1970s and 1980s, including a decade-long residency at Gulliver’s Club in Mayfair. His early passion for Afrocentric rhythms inspired the creation of The Funky Road Show, a pioneering mobile disco that introduced reggae, soul, disco and jazz-funk to dancefloors across London. During this period he was also active on pirate radio before later joining Capital FM, where he received the Broadcaster of the Year award in 1985.

From these foundations, Graham Gold’s career expanded internationally, leading him to perform in more than 150 cities across over 40 countries. His appearances include major global events such as Glastonbury, Gatecrasher, God’s Kitchen and The Street Parade in Zurich. Alongside his touring success, he has sold more than 700,000 compilation albums, earning six Gold and four Silver BPI certifications.
As a producer, broadcaster and tastemaker, Graham continues to support both established and emerging artists through Esta La Musica. The show’s name, inspired by a tattoo he received during a tour in the United States during the 1990s, reflects his lifelong connection to music, rhythm and dancefloor culture.
Now based in Thailand, Graham remains closely connected to the regional electronic music scene, performing regularly at events in cities such as Bangkok, Pattaya and Koh Phangan. His appearance at Retro Mountain in early 2025 reaffirmed his ongoing relationship with audiences across Asia.
Esta La Musica episode 589 continues this journey, presenting a carefully selected set that moves through deep house, progressive house and melodic techno, capturing the uplifting and melodic energy that has defined Graham Gold’s sound throughout his career.
DJ Graham Gold's Esta La Musica 589 opens with Fall Out in the Heaven InC remix and Radical Fantasy Time To Be Alive, establishing a strong Progressive House foundation. Obsidian continues the flow with a deeper tone, while Jungla Safari introduces Organic House elements that add warmth and texture to the early part of the mix.
The set develops through the Paramida extended dub of Say Hello, bringing a Deep House edge before Magic Island and Disco Rebels return to a driving Progressive House groove. These tracks maintain a steady rhythm while gradually increasing the intensity and layering.
A shift in tone arrives with Vital Link and I Call It, both moving into Melodic House & Techno with more atmospheric and structured arrangements. Not About The Volume adds a punchier House element, keeping the energy balanced before transitioning into a heavier closing section.
The final stretch is driven by Megaton, Mirror, and What Is Real, all pushing into peak time Techno with a focused and energetic finish. The episode delivers a cohesive progression from Progressive House into melodic and driving techno, maintaining a consistent club flow throughout.
Don’t miss this amazing live show on Saturday, March 21st, 2026, from 8 PM to 10 PM Indochina Time (ICT), with a replay available on Wednesday from 8 AM to 10 AM (ICT).
