Graham Gold has revealed the playlist for episode 568 of Esta La Musica. Broadcast on Scientific Sound Asia, the show forms part of the station’s commitment as a DJ agency, promoter, and electronic music broadcaster, connecting audiences across Asia and beyond with the finest underground sounds.
An internationally acclaimed British DJ, Graham Gold has been a defining figure in electronic music for more than forty years. Renowned for his talent, energy, and influence, he has performed worldwide, captivating audiences with his vibrant sets and distinctive musical vision.
Ranked in DJ Magazine’s Top 100 DJs for eight consecutive years, Graham is recognised as a trailblazer whose impact on the genre remains profound. His career first reached international attention through London’s legendary club night Peach, a cornerstone of the city’s nightlife, and his residency at Kiss 100 FM, which brought him to global prominence.
His sound, fusing house, progressive house, melodic techno, and deep tech, has continued to evolve while retaining its unmistakable character. Graham’s story began with a decade-long residency at Gulliver’s Club in Mayfair, where he honed his craft six nights a week.
His passion for Afrocentric grooves led to The Funky Road Show, a mobile disco that introduced diverse sounds to London’s underground. By the age of 18, he was a fixture in the city’s club culture, spinning reggae, soul, disco, and jazz-funk, before pirate radio residencies in the late 1970s and early 1980s expanded his influence further.

Mainstream recognition soon followed through his involvement with the Radio London Soul Night Out Crew, leading to a Saturday residency on Capital FM and his Broadcaster of the Year award in 1985. His Kiss 100 FM tenure confirmed him as one of the UK’s most influential DJs, while appearances at Glastonbury, Gatecrasher, God’s Kitchen, and The Street Parade in Zurich showcased his global reach.
Graham has headlined events in over 150 cities across 40 countries and sold more than 700,000 albums, including six BPI Certified Gold and four Silver releases. As a producer, he has released on numerous international labels while continually supporting new artists through Esta La Musica, the show inspired by a tattoo he received while touring the U.S. in the 1990s.
Now based in Thailand, Graham is a fixture in Bangkok, Pattaya, and Koh Phangan, where he performs regularly, including at the iconic Full Moon Party. His recent set at Retro Mountain in January 2025 highlighted his enduring creativity and connection with the dancefloor.
Episode 569 of DJ Graham Gold’s Esta La Musica begins with Thomas Puech – Bisous, laying down a rolling Tech House foundation before Steve Parry – Turn Up The Juice (Dilby Remix) pushes into Progressive House textures. Indie Dance grooves emerge with The Organism – Delight and Rob Gritton – Hypnotech, contrasting against classic House touches from Reach Up & Stevie Keys – Lose It and Wh0, Sam Frandisco & Marci Melissen – Let It In.
The middle section raises the energy with harder-edged selections. Dubfire – Roadkill (Meduza & Essentia Remix) and Hot Since 82 – Bloodlies drive the Tech House momentum forward, while Retrouve – Ride and Laid Back – Cocaine Cool (Gio Luca Remix) weave in Deep Tech atmosphere. A surprise ID track from Tommy Wahl adds a Melodic House & Techno edge, shaping the transition into darker tones.
Later, Graham balances club-ready grooves with exploratory sounds. Rooleh – State Of Mind delivers a funky Jackin House swing, while Tita Lau, Kevin Saunderson & Santonio – The Sound captures House tradition with Detroit roots. These tracks highlight the versatility of his set, moving fluidly across styles while maintaining flow and energy.
Closing the episode, Graham powers up with Techno and melodic strength. Tim Taste – Surrender brings peak-time punch, while Enrico Sangiuliano – The Techno Code (Kevin De Vries & SVLR Remix) seals the show with dramatic, layered Melodic House & Techno. Episode 569 once again demonstrates Graham’s ability to unite underground flavours into a seamless journey.
