Bicycle Corporation release tracklist for their 100 % Bicycle Corporation tracks/remix/edits show

Bicycle Corporation presented episode 53 of its 100% Bicycle Corporation tracks, remixes and edits show on Scientific Sound Asia, originally aired on 17 March 2019. Scientific Sound Asia is an Asian electronic music radio station, DJ agency, promoter and music-news platform connecting audiences across Asia and internationally.

Bicycle Corporation is the collaboration between Italian DJ and producer Marco Mei and producer Stefano Ugliano, also known as 6884. This two-hour edition was devoted entirely to the pair’s own productions, remixes and edits from their catalogue.

Marco began DJing in Turin in 1991, during a formative period for Italy’s underground House and Techno culture. Through the Urban People collective, he helped organise events and develop a local profile as a DJ and promoter.

A residency at Pacha in Sharm el-Sheikh marked an important stage in Marco’s international career. His subsequent appearances included Woo Bar in Bali, The Mansion in Shanghai, Fuse in Brussels and The Observatory in Ho Chi Minh City.

Stefano’s musical education included classical piano, percussion and drums, with interests spanning Chopin and West African rhythmic traditions. During the late 1990s, his growing interest in electronic music and DJ culture became central to his production work.

Marco and Stefano formed Bicycle Corporation in 2009, combining their respective experience in DJing and musical production. The project has since built a catalogue of more than fifty productions and remixes across Deep House, Tech House, French House and Techno.

Their releases have appeared through labels including Alchemy, Miniatures, WL77, Suka and GrooveTraxx. The pair’s work has also moved between original productions and remixes, with material suited to both underground settings and larger club rooms.

Bicycle Corporation has also been associated with Electronic Roots, a platform for broad electronic music and guest DJs. That wider scope sits alongside the collaboration’s club-focused production catalogue rather than replacing it.

Bicycle Corporation’s episode 53 100% tracks, remixes and edits show opens with BLKN, a Peak Time Techno cut on WL77. All That Swing follows on Variety Music, while Eddie Amador’s I Don’t Trip appears in the Bicycle Corporation and B.Brenes remix on Suka Records, establishing the House Music thread.

Fedde Le Grand’s Back & Forth arrives as a Bicycle Corporation private remix before Robert Babicz’s Remote Kiss receives their remix treatment. The latter appears through Babiczstyle and brings an Electronica reference into the early club-focused section.

Mauro Picotto’s Arrival in the Bicycle Corporation remix returns to Peak Time Techno through Alchemy (Italy). Shane Robinson’s Subconscious, in 6884’s Who’s Afraid Of The Wob Mix on ICONYC, develops a Progressive House direction with a Melodic House and Techno inflection.

Bicycle Corporation’s If Only I Were Cool Too moves into Deep House on DrizzlyMusic. B.A.X.’s What’s Left Dark Path appears in the Bicycle Corporation remix before Bicycle Corporation pres. 6884 contribute Pjanooo.

Rick Wade’s Seen Things in the Bicycle Corporation remix places Piston Recordings in the middle of the programme’s Deep House passage. Gary Jules’ Mad World then appears in the Bicycle Corporation after Paul Kalkbrenner remix, bringing a melodic electronic reference to the second half.

Groove Will Find A Way takes Bicycle Corporation into Deep Tech House on Revox Records. Their Sunset Samui follows on Hydrogen, returning the programme to Progressive House.

Snake Charming keeps the attention on Bicycle Corporation’s own club production work before My Beat vs. Deep Inside appears as a private bootleg. The sequence then makes room for Anthony Megaro’s Snap House in the Bicycle Corporation remix on Moon Bear Records.

Anthony Megaro’s Snap House holds the House Music connection in the closing passage. Bicycle Corporation pres. 6884 finish with To Speaking About on Natura Viva, placing Tech House at the centre of the final record.
