Alexander Filatov is a Russian-based DJ, sound producer, mixing engineer and mastering engineer. He is known for a distinctive progressive, deep techno approach and a considered musical selection.
His work combines dark and bittersweet harmonies with deep and tech beats, alongside themes that suggest a cold, distant cosmos. His sets use hypnotic rhythms, ethnic and dark vocals, and an unmistakable groove to bring emotion and rhythmic energy to the dancefloor.
Progressive, deep and techno-informed music is central to Filatov's work, while his attention to detail has brought releases through Bonzai Progressive, Sound Avenue, Green Snake Records, Bedroom Muzik, Soundbook Records, Acuna, Mystic Carousel Records, Lick My Lips Records and Ganesha Records. His catalogue also includes releases on Lincor, Vesta Records, White Circle Recordings, Digital + Muzik, Reflective Music, Lamp, Re:vibe Audio, Colore and BQ Recordings.
At the time of publication, his weekly radio show Sleepless Nights aired on Scientific Sound Radio for an international audience, while his DJ tours had taken him from Amsterdam to Budapest, London to Madrid, and Argentina to India. He was available for booking through our DJ agency, and this edition included the Bolgarin remix of his track Mirage from the forthcoming Time and Space EP on Green Snake Records.

Paul Mork's Choke Me follows before Zakmina's Galactica Metodica on Critical Monday introduces Indie Dance and Djedjotronic's Rusted on Boysnoize Records raises the pressure with Peak Time Techno.
The Souls' Craig Bratley Dub of Tonight on Diamonds and Software and Pletnev's Ninja Cuburru on Kump bring an Electronica edge to the early sequence. Marie Davidson's John Talabot remix of So Right, released by Ninja Tune, then adds an acid accent before the set turns towards more melodic material.
Obrotka's Taurus in Sevilla Dub Mix establishes Melodic House and Techno, followed by Adam Ten and Mosko (IL)'s Mita Gami remix of Shadow Way on Hosted. Troja's Moisees remix of Sutra on Voltaire Music and Ari Miller's Arawakan on KDB hold that direction before Filatov's own Bolgarin Dub Mix of Mirage on Green Snake Records brings in Deep House.
Daniel Rateuke's Ebo on Lost on You and Arude's Transcend on Suprematic return to melodic house and techno with a measured, spacious feel. Sahar Z's Side Caution on Highway Records follows with another deep-house selection, extending the set's lower-slung middle passage.
Rise And Fall's Time on Particles and Mlab's Julia on Deepersense Music shift the programme into Progressive House. Feelmark's Kasper Koman remix of Orbital on BeatFreak Recordings and Enamour and Nox Vahn's Sleep Paralysis on Yoshitoshi Recordings bring the melodic house and techno thread back into the foreground.
Fernando Olaya's Luegoh remix of Amunet on Alpha Black sustains the progressive-house pace before Gil Zambrano's While You Dream on FSOE Parallels introduces main-floor Trance. Malandra Jr.'s Magnetik on Diynamic closes the programme with melodic house and techno, returning the final passage to the darker electronic tone established at the opening.
