Episode 715 of After Hours presents a deep and emotive Progressive House journey, curated and hosted by Belgian DJ and producer PatriZe. Broadcast on Scientific Sound Asia, the Vietnam-based radio platform, promoter and DJ agency, the series continues to connect underground electronic music communities across Asia with the wider international scene.

Now based in Thailand, PatriZe has established himself as a respected figure within the global Progressive House movement. His sound draws from early Trance and Techno influences, shaped into long-form journeys defined by smooth melodic flow, restrained tension and a strong narrative direction. Rather than immediate impact, his approach allows tracks to unfold gradually, emphasising atmosphere and progression.

Performances alongside artists such as Guy J and Pole Folder played an important role in refining his technical and expressive style. A key milestone came in 2010 when he won the Night Museum DJ Competition, opening the door to wider international exposure. This momentum led to the launch of AH Digital in 2015 with Hypnotised, created as a dedicated outlet for underground Progressive House.

The label’s debut release, Inhabitants of Another Realm, reached the Beatport Top 20 and helped establish AH Digital as a trusted platform for quality forward-thinking releases. More recently, PatriZe’s 2025 remix of The Loon on the label demonstrated the continued evolution of his sound, combining atmosphere, precision and melodic depth.

As the driving force behind After Hours, PatriZe remains committed to musical integrity and long-term platform building. Alongside residencies at Beachspot and Thai Lounge and Terrace in Pattaya, and regular appearances on Frisky Radio’s Rising Sun and Proton Radio’s AH Digital Essentials, he continues to shape the series as a space for thoughtful and emotionally resonant Progressive House music.

Guest DJ Daria Fomina.

This week's guest DJ and producer, Daria Fomina, is an emerging artist whose sound forms a bridge between melodic Progressive House and contemporary electronic music. Her musical path began with classical piano training before evolving under the influence of electronic pioneers, from the atmospheric textures of Enigma and Massive Attack to the melodic Trance of Robert Miles, Schiller and ATB.

Further inspiration came from the energy of The Prodigy, the introspective songwriting of Radiohead, the expansive sound of Tiësto and the progressive depth of Sasha and Guy J. These varied references shaped a musical outlook rooted in emotion, structure and atmosphere.

Today, Daria presents herself as a guide through melodic electronica. Her voice appears on the two-hour Oxygen show on FRISKY Radio, where she introduces carefully selected artists, and on the Purple Sky series broadcast on DI.FM’s Progressive channel, Subcode Radio in the United Kingdom and XBeat Radio in Belgium.

Her sets combine layered Progressive House with broken rhythms, organic textures and touches of Melodic Techno and Trance. She has performed at Amsterdam Dance Event, appeared in the desert environment of Burning Man and played at clubs across Russia and Europe.

Her debut remix on the Droid9 label reached the Beatport charts, marking an early milestone while she continues refining her production direction. She also curated the LIA Series project created by Amber Long, bringing together more than thirty female musicians worldwide.

Alongside this, she organises themed radio events connecting progressive DJs and producers, and released an extended five-hour promotional mix for Droid9 that was warmly received, with a new Best Releases of 2025 edition scheduled to follow. For eighteen months, she held a residency at Space Bar & Restaurant on the 34th floor of the Swissotel in Moscow, delivering deep electronic selections overlooking the city skyline.

Today, Daria continues to develop her production work while contributing to the wider scene as a curator and guest artist across international platforms. Her journey reflects constant movement between classical roots and modern electronica, balancing energy, depth and melodic clarity in each performance.

PatriZe opens the first hour, moving patiently through modern progressive territory. ALEMAID sets the reflective tone with Introspective, before GMJ & Matter deepen the groove with Cryo. Leonardo Britto’s Deep Water Temple and Mateo Tapia’s remix of Reflections extend the atmospheric direction, while Joaquín Salmain’s rework by Rockka & RNDØM introduces a subtle lift in momentum.

The middle section keeps the hypnotic pacing steady. AndrewzVee’s The Tide and Julietta Notes with Trifonov S on Into the Waves maintain the flowing structure, leading naturally into Tabrissel’s The Illusion of Existence and Zeleon’s Inverted Lights. Dmitry Molosh closes the hour with Finish Line, giving the first set a controlled peak without breaking the mood.

Daria Fomina begins the second hour with warmer textures as Niko Garcia’s Galaxy introduces organic house colours. VlØøt’s Dancing With The Wind and the Peter Makto edit of Discopolis 2.0 reconnect to progressive rhythms, while Björn Fogelberg and DEGG MT continue the melodic focus with Conscious Technology and Road to Atlam.

The closing stretch builds gently toward a melodic finish. Redspace’s Regression, Erich LH’s Circus and the remix of Molecular Pressure maintain the steady progression, before Matan Caspi and Luis M add groove with Groovy Beach. The D-Nox & Kamilo Sanclemente remix of Piece of Hope prepares the finale, and Lee Burridge with Lost Desert’s Ash & Ember ends the episode in a calm, organic tone, completing a balanced progressive house session.

Remember to set a reminder for the live house music radio show on Monday, February 16th, 2026, from 10:00 PM to midnight Indochina Time (ICT). If you can’t catch it live, the replay will air on Friday from 10:00 AM to noon (ICT).
