Electronic Roots 3 at Barcade Taiwan

Scientific Sound Asia and Barcade Taiwan presented Electronic Roots 3, following the success of the Bicycle Corporation online radio show. The event featured Electronic Roots founder Marco Mei for a free-entry night of electronic music in Taipei.

Marco Mei is an Italian DJ with more than three decades of international experience. Shaped by the early waves of Afro and House music, he began his DJ career in 1991 and later performed at major venues and events across Asia, Europe and beyond. His career has included appearances at Woo Bar in Bali, The Mansion in Shanghai, Fuse in Brussels, The Observatory in Ho Chi Minh City, Vervo Club in Kunming, Pacha in Dresden, Cha Cha Moon in Koh Samui, NLO in Minsk, Time in Manila and Global Dance in Russia. He has shared line-ups with artists including Roger Sanchez, David Morales, Ralph Falcon, Sander Kleinenberg, Harry “Choo Choo” Romero, Justin Berkmann and Funk D’Void.

Barcade Taiwan hosted the event at its Taipei house of fun, combining American comfort food, craft beer, craft cocktails, infused moonshine shots, adult boozy gummy bears, arcade games, pool, foosball, darts and craft beats. Guests were asked not to bring outside food or drink out of respect for the venue, and not to drink and drive.
