Just days after playing LOCUS Festival 2025 in Bali, Dave Owen arrived in Saigon for an exclusive rooftop session at Tonic in Thảo Điền. The event brought a US Drum and Bass artist associated with Metalheadz, V Recordings, Liquid V and Good Looking Records to Scientific Sound Asia’s home venue.

Dave Owen is a Drum and Bass producer and DJ from the United States, with a sound that bridges deep basslines, jazz-laced melodies and soulful club pressure. His music has appeared through labels including Metalheadz, V Recordings, Liquid V and Good Looking Records, placing him within the deeper and more musical side of the genre.

The rooftop setting at Tonic gave the event an open-air atmosphere, suited to Owen’s smooth and groove-led take on Drum and Bass. The night focused on quality selections, deep movement and the warmer side of bass music.

The event formed part of Scientific Sound Asia’s 2025 Drum and Bass programme in Ho Chi Minh City. It followed a run of international bass music bookings and formed part of Scientific Sound Asia’s 2025 Drum and Bass programme in Ho Chi Minh City.
