Gerard
Gerard Jones is a DJ and producer from Florida in the United States whose work centres on house music and underground electronic sounds. Known for his energetic performances and strong passion for the genre, he has built a reputation for delivering engaging DJ sets shaped by groove, rhythm and a deep appreciation for dancefloor culture.
His journey into electronic music began through the project DeviceRATT with F.L.I. Records, where his interest in production and DJing began to develop more seriously. During this period Gerard became increasingly immersed in house and electronic music, discovering the creative direction that would define his future work as a DJ and producer.
In the early stages of his career he became active within the underground scene of South Florida, performing at venues such as Treehouse and Nocturnal. These appearances helped him build a growing reputation locally while refining his DJ style through regular performances and deeper involvement in the regional club community.
In 2014 Gerard released his debut production on Aerotek Records, marking an important step into professional music production. Following this release he continued to develop his studio work and expand his catalogue with further releases on labels including Pure Pitch and LTHM. These projects helped establish his presence as both a DJ and producer working across different areas of house music.
His career later expanded beyond the United States as he began performing internationally, particularly across East Asia and performing on our radio station. During this period he secured several residencies in venues throughout the region, where his performances helped build a dedicated following and introduced his sound to new audiences.
Gerard eventually became well known within parts of China’s electronic music scene, where his DJ sets attracted strong support from club audiences. However, the global pandemic brought this chapter to an abrupt pause, leading him to return to the United States after a period of success abroad.
Since returning to America he has continued to focus on DJing and production while maintaining connections with the international electronica music community. Through his performances and releases he remains committed to exploring house music and developing his sound while connecting with audiences both locally and internationally.
