Deysa presents Techno Show 19 on Scientific Sound Asia with guest DJ Ricky Busta, alongside her announced track selection. Scientific Sound Asia is an English-language electronic music radio station, promoter, DJ agency and music-news platform for India, Singapore, China, Vietnam and the wider region.
Deysa, who hosts the first hour, is a Romanian DJ and producer who first entered the scene in 2009 through her Friday Fever residency on Radio DEEA. The residency introduced her to Romania’s emerging underground audience and established a foundation for her profile among a new wave of Romanian Techno artists.
Since her 2010 debut, she has gained recognition in Romania and abroad for a tight style and powerful sonic identity. She was a founding member of Underground Romanian Sound, a collective whose showcases amplified the country’s electronic community.
Over the years, she has played clubs including Studio Martin, Kristal Glam Club, Space Ibiza, La Gazette, Control Club, Rivolta Marghera and Illusion in Montenegro. Her festival appearances include Electric Castle, Airfield Festival, Fusion Festival, Felsziget and many more, spanning clubs, open-air stages and festival crowds.
In 2016, she became resident DJ at Molotov, an electronic bar on the Black Sea in Vama Veche, performing alongside Boris Brejcha, Sharam, Sister Bliss, Nastia, Coyu, Ellen Allien, Lady Waks, Jay Lumen, Ali Nasser, Makam, The Model, Herodot, Simina Grigoriu and Ray Okpara. Her international work has brought attention to her precise and forceful selections.
Beyond the decks, Deysa has worked as a producer and label contributor. She previously served as manager at LETS Techno Records and has worked in sound design and mastering at Square Sound Studio.
Her 2024 release Euphoria on Kuukou Records gained traction and brought her work to a broader global audience. During that period, she expanded her discography through collaborations with emerging European artists and remixes centred on a darker, rhythm-focused approach.
Her EP Bipolar was scheduled for release on LETS Techno Records, adding to a catalogue that documents her development as a producer. At the time of publication, as an artist on the Scientific Sound Asia DJ Agency, she was preparing for bookings and future appearances across Asia, where her Romanian Techno style was attracting interest.
Techno Show 19 opens with Dusty Kid’s The Fugue (Contrapunctus X) on Isolade, an Electronica introduction before Deysa’s Madness on LETS Techno Records establishes Peak Time Techno. Her Euphoria (Dusty Kid Remix) on Kuukou Records brings in Melodic House and Techno, followed by Torsten Kanzler’s Resonanz, also on Kuukou Records.
Johannes Menzel’s Motor (Dusty Kid Remix) on Suspekt, Lady Maru’s Basic Acidism (Deysa Remix) on Physical Techno Recording and Drumcomplex and Uncertain’s Work the Bass on Codex Recordings reinforce the set’s firmer centre. Dusty Kid’s Lynchesque (Robert Babicz Remix) on Isolade introduces Progressive House, before Esdae’s Maniac on lazuli Records brings in Deep Tech House.
Robert Babicz’s My Little Psycho Friend on Dirtcuts returns the programme to peak-time intensity. Tom Nihil’s Delir on Complex Textures, Gigi De Martino’s Forget and Christian DRUXS’ Superhero, both on LETS Techno Records, keep the pressure focused.
Steve Morris’ Why Fear The Now Final and Hevner’s Landing Part 2, both on LETS Techno Records, lead towards leoVega’s Estatica on Eclipse Recordings. The Maniacs’ Artificial Illusion on LETS Techno Records follows with another direct, percussive cut.
Pekla’s Pekloid Late #1 and Mkvt’s Ferrum, both on LETS Techno Records, frame Samantha Togni and Hectic’s Three Dots (Pain T Remix) on the same label. Jonas Volkenborn’s Pfau wie Vendetta on LETS Techno Records then carries the programme into its closing section.

This week’s guest DJ for the second hour is Ricky Busta. Riccardo Busnari, known internationally as Ricky Busta, is a promoter, event manager and label manager from Milan, Italy, with more than 30 years of experience in the entertainment world. His career began in the early 1990s when he stepped into Milan’s club culture at the iconic underground venue Killer Plastic, a launchpad that set the tone for his long-standing involvement in cutting-edge electronic music.
A lifelong music devotee, Ricky Busta has worked with many of Milan’s most influential clubs and has run his own venue, becoming a key figure in the Italian underground scene. His work extends across Europe, where he has been involved in countless events and collaborations with various record labels as both a selector and producer.
In 2012, he became co-owner and artistic director of Subwoofer Records, a label that quickly gained attention among global DJs and producers. Subwoofer became a recognised force on platforms such as Beatport and Juno Download, supported by respected names including Adam Beyer, Ida Engberg, Chris Liebing, Dave Clarke, DJ Rush, Hernan Cattaneo, Marika Rossa, and Carl Cox.
Alongside his work with the label, Ricky Busta built a strong radio presence, hosting several broadcasts before launching his own monthly show on Cuebase FM, delivering four hours of high-energy Techno featuring top-tier international guests. His ability to champion new talent helped shape a fresh wave of emerging artists in the harder and more industrial corners of Techno.
More recently, Ricky Busta stepped into a new chapter with his own imprint, LETS TECHNO, a label focused on pushing forward-thinking artists and powerful, peak-time Techno. LETS TECHNO quickly made an impact, reaching the number one spot on Beatport’s Hard Techno releases and continuing to attract support from key players across the global scene. His Cuebase FM show has also evolved into the LETS TECHNO Radio Show, further strengthening the brand and its following.
Today, Ricky Busta continues to develop LETS TECHNO, uncovering new producers, curating fresh releases and staying deeply connected to the worldwide Techno community. His guest mix brings the raw, punchy and uncompromising energy that defines both his DJ sets and his growing label.
