Al Loudvoic, real name Alan Patrick Zahlbruckner, was a 24-year-old DJ and producer from Slovakia in 2019. His sound is chiefly informed by House Music styles, including Tech House, Deep House and G-House.
Electronic music drew his attention from an early age after his father introduced him to it. He soon became interested in production as well as listening, and since the age of 15 has actively performed as a DJ and producer.
After gaining experience across differing genres and professional situations, he introduced Al Loudvoic as a project focused on his greatest musical motivation. The project gave him a way to entertain people through his own ideas and pursue his ambitions.
He chose the name Al Loudvoic as the voice that emerged from those years of experience and brought him back to the road where he feels he belongs. His inspirations include Adam Beyer, Technasia, Enrico Sangiuliano, Carl Cox, Camelphat, Solardo, Eli Brown and Riva Starr.
The programme opens with Shakedown’s At Night in Kid Crème’s re-edit on Defected, establishing a House Music foundation. Billy Kenny’s Just Came For The Music on Ultra then brings in Tech House, followed by Black V Neck’s Sex, Drugs, Alcohol on DIRTYBIRD and Cazztek’s Rock To on THRIVE MUSIC.
Claude VonStroke and Eddy M’s Getting Hot keeps the DIRTYBIRD connection in place before Cloonee’s Be Good To Me, featuring Lindy Layton, appears on Big Beat Records. David Penn’s Defected release Nobody and DJ S.K.T’s Must Be A Reason on DFX bring the selection back towards House Music before Dom Dolla’s Sonny Fodera remix of Take It.
GAWP’s Every Weekend on HELDEEP Records and Huxley’s Freekon on Club Sweat sustain the Tech House focus. Jack Back’s (It Happens) Sometimes on Defected precedes Martin Ikin’s No No on Repopulate Mars, then Noizu’s LFO and No More on Techne.
Rebuke’s The Pipe on DIRTYBIRD and Andrew Meller’s Insomnia on Glasgow Underground keep the club rhythm taut. John Monkman and Pete Tong’s Pleasurekraft remix of The Bumps, Celeda’s Ronnie Spiteri remix of The Underground on Fridge Records, and Aden’s Move lead into Belitu’s Peak Time Techno cut Factory on Sphere Records.
Cristoph’s EyeSpy on VIVa MUSiC and Sante’s Carlo Lio remix of Ce Una on Sound Supreme return to Tech House. Sam Paganini’s Another Chance on JAM introduces raw, deep and hypnotic techno, while Matt Sassari’s Scape Hotline on Comade Music and Enrico Sangiuliano’s Blooming Era on Drumcode raise the intensity.
D-Unity’s Umek 1605 remix of Purple Pills on Unity Records extends the Peak Time Techno passage. Fraser Stuart’s Matt Sassari remix of Voices on Under No Illusion, Sharam’s Mini on Yoshitoshi Recordings and Mella Dee’s Techno Disco Tool on Warehouse Music finish the programme with firm, percussive techno.
