McCarty Shoot returns with episode 10, featuring guest appearances from Fatih Şipka and Toquito on Scientific Sound Asia. The show is curated by McCarty Records, an independent label that emerged from a collaboration between music professionals from Europe and the Middle East. Built on a long-standing friendship and a shared dedication to underground electronic music, the project developed from years of experience across different areas of the international music industry.
The founders established McCarty Records with the intention of creating a label able to explore the many branches of modern Techno and underground electronic music. Rather than concentrating on a single sound, the imprint gives its artists room to experiment while maintaining a strong connection with contemporary club culture.
As a result, McCarty Records releases music across several related styles including Techno, Melodic House and Techno, Minimal, Deep Tech and Tech House. The catalogue balances established producers with emerging artists, providing a platform for new material while retaining a consistent underground identity.
Through the McCarty Shoot radio series, the label presents a monthly selection drawn from its own catalogue, guest artists and notable producers from the wider international scene. Broadcasting through the Scientific Sound Asia radio station, each episode provides a focused view of contemporary underground electronic music while documenting the continuing development of the McCarty Records sound.
The programme also reflects Scientific Sound Asia's wider commitment to supporting independent producers and labels through its electronic music news, radio programming and international artist network. This gives McCarty Records another route for introducing its artists and releases to listeners beyond the clubs and digital stores where the music first appears.
Episode 10 continues that approach with contributions from Fatih Şipka and Toquito, whose selections bring additional perspectives to the programme. Together, the show moves through several Techno-oriented styles while maintaining the driving rhythms, deeper textures and underground character associated with McCarty Records.
Guest DJ Fatih Şipka (first hour)
In this month’s edition of McCarty Shoot, the first guest DJ is Fatih Şipka a.k.a Faith Project. Born in İzmit, Turkey and currently based in Istanbul, Fatih has been steadily developing his presence within the electronic music scene as both a DJ and producer.
Over the past four years, he has focused on building his production catalogue, working primarily under the Fatih Project name. His music sits firmly within the hypnotic side of techno, characterised by driving rhythms, layered percussion and darker atmospheric textures that align with the Techno (Raw / Deep / Hypnotic) style.
Recent releases include Hypno Dance and Missing on McCarty Records, both released in 2026 as part of the label’s SIEGE!!!! compilation series. These tracks highlight his current direction, combining energetic tempos around 135 BPM with deep, hypnotic structures suited to underground club environments.
Alongside these newer releases, Fatih Project has built a growing body of work on Nötr Records throughout 2025. Tracks such as Description, Compacto, Time, Quandary, and Alter Ego demonstrate a consistent focus on hypnotic techno production, while other releases, including Climax, Kryptonite Rain, Ripple, and Satisfaction, further expand his catalogue within the same driving and atmospheric framework.
Additional material from the Fp Three release introduced tracks such as My Way, Tutti Frutti, and the title track Fp Three, illustrating his continued experimentation with tempo and rhythmic structure while maintaining the darker tonal character that defines his productions.
Alongside his studio output, Fatih performs regularly at clubs and private events in Turkey. While his DJ sets often move across house, tech house and techno, his production work so far has focused primarily on the hypnotic techno spectrum. As his career continues to develop, he plans to expand into additional house-oriented styles while maintaining the deep, rhythmic identity that shapes his current sound.
Guest DJ Toquito (second hour)
In this episode, the next guest DJ is Toquito. Dimitris Argiris, known professionally as Toquito, is an electronic music DJ and producer from Greece who has been developing his presence within the underground scene for more than a decade.
He began his creative journey in 2014 when he produced his first track, which soon led to his first official release as a producer. From this early starting point, he continued to refine his production techniques and expand his musical direction, steadily building experience both in the studio and behind the decks.
Driven by a strong passion for electronic music and a constant desire to improve his craft, Toquito has collaborated with a number of recording companies throughout his career. Working with different labels and artists has allowed him to broaden his understanding of the music industry while continuing to explore new ideas within his productions.
His work reflects a commitment to developing a personal sound while remaining connected to the wider underground electronic music community. Through both his studio productions and DJ performances, Toquito continues to evolve as an artist, combining technical skill with a curiosity for new musical directions.

Fatih Şipka opens the first hour of McCarty Shoot Episode 10 with Cromby and Sterac, establishing a raw and hypnotic Deep Techno direction before Assailants, Ben Sims and Truncate break the straight pulse with "Effort 8". Joris Voorn's "Missing", Antonio De Angelis' "Forte 2" and Hertz Collision's "Sphere" return the set to stripped-back techno, building the early section around repetition, groove and controlled pressure.
Buitrago, Kai Van Dongen and Avision keep the first hour firmly focused on the dancefloor before DJ Dextro's remix of Toni Alvarez's "Brain Teaser" restores a deeper raw-techno feel. Truncate and Kai Van Dongen continue that approach before Drunken Kong's "Phase One" introduces the stronger forward drive of Peak Time Techno, giving Fatih Şipka's closing sequence a noticeable increase in intensity.
Toquito changes the atmosphere immediately in the second hour, opening with Gianni Romano, Emanuele Esposito and MHE before Double Touch's "Woolfie" moves through Organic House and Argy's "Ketuvim" introduces Melodic House and Techno. Tom & Collins, James Hype and Ron Costa then increase the rhythmic pressure, creating a bridge from the warmer opening into the firmer club material that dominates the remainder of the guest mix.
Sllash & Doppe, Black Fader, Solardo with Wade, Max Styler with Kyle Walker and Noizu form a concentrated closing run of Tech House, built around punchy basslines and economical vocal hooks. The contrast between the two DJs gives Episode 10 a clear two-part identity, moving from Fatih Şipka's raw and driving Techno into Toquito's broader mixture of Afro, organic, melodic and groove-heavy house music.
