DJ Psy Inertia (Kafka), also known by his real name Sai Subramanian, is an Indian DJ and graduate of Spin DJ Academy. He has held residencies at Tavern, Brighton, Lush, HQ, Purple Haze and Vie Lounge, while collaborations with event agencies and brands have supported his reputation as a performer.
His musical foundation lies in Techno, Electronica and Experimental, with elements of Deep House, Tech House and Progressive also informing a rich and immersive sound. His sets combine musical detail with energy for a broad range of listeners.
Psy Inertia’s work has reached an international audience through features on Play FM in Austria, Desert Island Decks, Studio Lux FM in Luxembourg, MoreBass Radio in New York, UDMI Radio in Dublin, DHLC Radio in Vienna, Emergency FM in Leeds, HouseFreqs Radio, Housebeat Radio London, Radio Techno Norway and Clubsoundz Radio in Paris. He was also invited to perform as a guest on DI.FM.
Drawing inspiration from Massive Attack, Cristian Paduraru, Talvin Singh, Greg Kobe, Snap, Dave Clarke, Skream, Morcheeba, Frankie Knuckles, Kitaro and many others, Psy Inertia takes a diverse approach to his sound. This range enables him to command dance floors with performances that are electrifying and memorable.
Following a well-received run over the preceding years, which earned recognition from listeners and industry peers, Psy Inertia expanded his reach. At the time of publication, he was working with Visiomind Records in Vienna and preparing new releases with Mechanic and Tropic Records in Mexico City, including a Deep House and Progressive track.

Jose Tabarez’s Paul Angelo & Don Argento remix of Mindset on Stellar Fountain and Inger’s Morttagua remix of Natural Selection on Landscapes Music develop the measured builds and brooding melodies. Ten Walls follows with Arahas on Runemark, bringing a focused House Music passage into the mix.
Fur Coat’s There’s No Time on Hot Creations and Cesare vs Disorder and Dave Vega’s Mindless on Bpitch Control take the set into Tech House. Bloem’s Anstascia remix of Into Bloom, released by Akbal Music, lowers the tempo with a Downtempo interlude before Cryptic Realms’ Arken X remix of New Moon on 3xA Music restores the progressive tension.
WilyamDeLove featuring Govor’s Two Are remix of Jafar on Bassmatic Records introduces Melodic House and Techno textures. Dimitry Molosh and Nopi’s Consciousness Switch on Replug and G Monk’s Paul Hamilton remix of Face To Face on FGComps return the emphasis to finely layered progressive rhythms.
MartyOn and JorgK’s NAHS remix of Red Lights on Balkan Connection and Geronimo Eguiguren’s Paul Hamilton & DJ Ruby remix of The Bear on Droid9 sustain the darker melodic line. Black8 and Arrab’s Sandwaves on The Soundgarden, followed by Ricardo Piedra’s NOIYSE PROJECT remix of Pallas Athene on Stellar Fountain, keep the mood atmospheric without losing momentum.
Juan Buitrago and Gerardo Moro’s Figure Up on Droid9, Parallel Universe’s The Decision on Stellar Fountain and G Monk’s Yaatra on Revolt Music form the final progressive stretch. Max Freegrant’s Stan Kolev remix of Nazar on Freegrant Music gives way to Evelynka and Jean Vayat’s Moonwalk remix of Your Rain on Harabe, closing on a melodic and spacious note.
