Igor Hush presents episode 06 of Immersion on Scientific Sound Asia. Scientific Sound Asia operates as an Asian electronic music radio station, promoter and music news platform connecting audiences across Asia and internationally.
Igor Hush, whose real name is Igor Romanchuk, is a DJ from Chervyen, Belarus. He became known through his work within Minsk’s underground electronic music scene.
At the time of publication, Igor divided his year between Belarus and Asia, spending summers performing in Minsk before travelling east during the winter months. His appearances in Asia included clubs and bars in Goa, Koh Phangan and Bali.
His sets are centred on Tech House, with Minimal and Deep Tech also playing an important role in his selections. Depending on the setting, he also incorporates Afro House and Techno into his DJ sets.
Igor adapts his selections to the atmosphere of each venue and the response of the crowd. His recorded mixes provide a broader view of the House and Techno styles that define his work behind the decks.
Igor Hush opens Immersion Episode 06 with Space Food’s “Ahsen” before Rami Imam and Matchy establish the deep melodic character of the programme. Yotto’s “Nova” in Cassian’s remix then moves firmly into Melodic House and Techno, setting up one of the strongest threads running through the set.
The Blockchain and Moonwalk continue that darker melodic flow before EEEMUS leads into Maceo Plex’s “Destination Mars” in Raxon’s remix. Phil Kieran follows in another Moonwalk remix, keeping the middle of the opening section balanced between melodic tension and a tougher techno pulse.
Thousand Sirens, Fairmont and Hidden Face take the programme through more spacious electronic territory before Angelov and Monkey Safari bring the rhythm back towards Progressive House. Amentia and Goom Gum then strengthen the groove as Igor Hush gradually builds the set without abandoning its deeper atmosphere.
Cherry, Maga with Nhii and Miyagi carry the second half through warmer, more organic textures, bringing Organic House into the wider melodic framework. Justin Marchacos, Mila Journée and Modeplex then return the emphasis to darker synth lines and steady club momentum.
Denis Horvat’s “Tajna” leads into Citizen Kain with Rafael Cerato before Domenic D'Agnelli and Chris Di Perri move the set towards its final stretch. King Joshua’s “Idolized” in Timo Maas’ remix and Jaap Ligthart continue the progressive thread before Tiefstone and Sweet Jack prepare the closing track.
MVMB’s “Twilight” finishes an episode dominated by melodic house and techno, progressive house and deeper electronic material. Igor Hush keeps the thirty-track selection cohesive by moving gradually between melodic tension, organic percussion and stronger techno passages rather than relying on abrupt changes.
